2 Help when you need it When paired with your personal alarm, the Smoke Detector by Tunstall can literally be a life-saver. An automatic alarm call will be made in the first instance when smoke is detected and help will be sent. If a fire is to occur, the alarm-linked Smoke Detector will sound an alarm and contact our Lifeline24 expert Monitoring Team who will take care of everything else. If the emergency services are required, they will be sent to you urgently. Our Monitoring Centre will quickly and efficiently assess the situation and will call whoever is required. If paramedics are needed, our Monitoring Team will pass on any relevant medical conditions, allergies or medications and Keysafe details so they have all the information they need when they arrive at the scene. In some cases, one of your nominated emergency contacts may be needed, and will be asked to attend. 4 Easy installation guide Step 1 Fix the base onto the desired surface using the enclosed assembling parts. Don t want to use screws? You can use heavy duty velcro! Step 2 Connect the 9V lithium battery with the battery clip and insert it into the battery tray. Step 3 Place the Smoke Detector in the base and lock it by turning it gently clockwise. Step 4 Test the detector is working by pressing the button for 1 second. If the set-up is correct then you should hear the alarm going off.

5 How our Smoke Detector works Step 1 If it detects smoke, it will send an automatic call to our Monitoring Centre. Step 2 Our Monitoring Centre will speak to you over the loudspeaker on the main alarm unit. Don t worry if you can t hear our Monitoring Team, help will still be sent to you. Step 3 Our Monitoring Team will ensure you get the help needed. They will assess the situation and call either your nominated emergency contacts and/or the emergency services.
