Item No.1 Low End Modular Operation Theatre Bidder shall be responsible for commissioning of Medical Gas lines, Area valve service units, alarm systems, gas outlets and AGSS systems Bidder shall be responsible for commissioning of Medical Gas lines, Area valve service units, alarm systems, gas outlets and AGSS systems in OT area Bidder shall be responsible for maintain suitable air conditioning inside the Operation theatre Bidder shall be responsible to maintain suitable air conditioning environment inside the Operation theatre The following lines deleted from the specification One engineer of HLL and one biomedical engineer of IMS, BHU have to be trained for a week at factory or the team of engineers from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) should provide training at IMS,BHU for a period of six working days to the selected staffs and engineers Scope of Work- General: Page 1 of 38

2 The Pre-fabricated Operating Room will be constructed using either (i) 1.6mm thick EGP panels backed by 12 mm Gypsum board The Pre-fabricated Operating Room will be constructed using 1.6mm thick EGP panels backed by 12 mm Gypsum board Wall Paneling System-SS The internal surfaces of the room walls will be sprayed with water based liquid plastic, wall glaze or equivalent, approved by the client to a minimum dry film thickness of 300 microns. The plastic coating will overlap the floor covering ceiling system and doorframes by 25mm to provide a continuous sealed surface. The plastic coating will be non- reflective and the color will be submitted to the client for approval. All the four corners should have return air duct outlets, the grill of which should be made of MS steel, duly powder coated with colour choice to suit the hospital Wall Paneling System The internal surfaces of the room walls will be sprayed with antifungal water based liquid plastic, wall glaze or equivalent, approved by the client to a minimum dry film thickness of 300 microns. The plastic coating will overlap the floor covering ceiling system and doorframes by 25mm to provide a continuous sealed surface. 3 The ceiling plates /cassettes should be made up of Stainless steel sheets, 0.8 mm thick with matt finish and should be polyurethane powder coated. Ceiling System The ceiling plates /cassettes should be made up of 1.6 mm thick EGP steel panels backed by 8mm gypsum board. PVC Flooring Thickness not less than 3mm. Continuous roll should be used and joints should be welded by special PVC thermal welding units using PVC welding bars of same colour PVC Flooring Thickness not less than 2mm. The overall thickness of the finished door should not exceed 60 mm. The inner part of the door should not be filled with CFC free polyurethane foam of thickness of 48mm or nearby. 4 Door should be with vision window 1.2 m X0.8 m with double glazed panels and hermetically sealed motorized roller blind inside. Hermetically Sealed Doors The controller should be capable of being operated by elbow switches / foot switches. The door material should be steel powder coated fixed to SS frame (similar to wall panels). Colour should match the interior care should be taken to make the leaf strong and light weight. The overall thickness of the finished door should not exceed 60 mm. The inner part of the door should be filled with CFC free polyurethane foam of thickness of 48mm or nearby. (sealed airtight to prevent further ingress of any microbial organism) Door should be with vision window 400mmx300mm with double glazed panels and hermetically sealed motorized roller blind inside. Door should provide X ray protection as per AERB regulation (Lead equivalent at 100 kv is 0.27mm) Control Panel The room Surgeon s control panel should be designed to cope with changing technology & equipment in operating environments. Control Panel will be user friendly & ease of operating & maintaining purpose. The panel should have provision to adjust temperature and RH by the surgeon. The surgeon control panel should meet Electrical safety codes for high & low voltage system, wired to the current IEE regulations. Control Panel Page 4 of 38

X ray Film Viewer ED type flat panel X-ray viewing panel should be supplied. This should be a 3 panel viewing screen. Each panel should be able to illuminate films up to 14 x17 size. Scrub Station Compact surgical scrub sink should be designed for use in OT complex providing for pre-ot scrub up.( Double sink combination) Thermostatic mixing, valve control should be located behind the access panel and maintain constant water temperature. Electrical socket should be of reputed make. Peripheral Lighting and Imported Clean Room Luminaries Peripheral lights and clean room luminaries fitted in the CG frame should be 8 in numbers for each OR. High quality imported surface mounted and recessed luminaries should be with at least 3 Nos of 54W fluorescent lamps (TS or equivalent). Should be with highly specular anodized aluminum reflectors and optical antiglare system for individually adjustable light distribution 16. The ball valve shall be connected by HTM 2022 & C11 stub pipes to the distribution system by either top, bottom, side or rear entry pipes Each terminal unit should be identified by the appropriate recognized name or symbol, colour, coding and shape as detailed below as in HTM 2022 & C11. These markings shall be permanent and be an integral part of the terminal unit. The medical gas alarm system shall be an advanced/ multiplexing data transmission system which fully satisfies the principles of HTM 2022 and conforms in all respects to the National Health Service Model Engineering Specification C11 Page 8 of 38

9 Pipe work materials shall be manufactured by a licensee of the Bs 5750 quality assurance certification scheme and all pipes and fittings are marked with the BSI kitemark 18.
