Pressing key unlock button Fig.1 [2] unlocks vehicle and deactivates alarm. NOTE: Key can be programmed to unlock driver's door only, using the following procedure: Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Within 20 seconds: Press and hold key lock/unlock buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. Programming procedure complete. Repeat above procedure to deactivate this mode. Check operation of key. Pressing key unlock button once unlocks driver's door and deactivates alarm. Indicators will flash twice rapidly. Within 5 seconds: Press unlock button. All doors should unlock and alarm deactivates. 2 2 How Key can only be programmed using diagnostic equipment. NOTE: A maximum of 4 keys can be programmed. With keyless entry system System operation Alarm/central locking can be deactivated in hands-free mode: Press any door/tailgate handle once to unlock all the doors. If programmed: Press any door/tailgate handle once to unlock door or tailgate. Press the door handle again to unlock all the doors and boot/tailgate. Alarm/central locking and double locking can be activated in hands-free mode: Switch ignition OFF. Ensure doors and boot/tailgate are closed. Press any door handle lock button once to lock the vehicle. Indicators will flash once. Pressing remote control lock button Fig.2 [1] activates double locking system and alarm. Indicators will flash once. Pressing remote control unlock button Fig.2 [2] unlocks vehicle and deactivates alarm. NOTE: Remote control can be programmed to unlock driver's door only, using the following procedure: Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Press and hold lock/unlock buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds. Within 5 seconds: Lock and unlock vehicle using driver's door lock button. Switch ignition ON for approximately 5 seconds. Switch ignition OFF. Wait approximately 5 seconds. Repeat above procedure. If engine starts: Place source of signal interference elsewhere. If engine does not start: System malfunction. RHD: If immobilizer warning lamp flashes 6 times then continuously illuminates proceed as follows: Switch ignition ON. Wait approximately 15 minutes.
