Our purpose built facilities are equipped for the manufacture, repair and service of transformers up to 75MVA@132kV, including: Oil filled and dry type transformers Coil rewind service Upgrades and repair Cable hire, sales and repairs We supply competitive cable leasing packages for the tunnelling and industrial markets. Cables can be delivered and installed on site, complete with plugs and terminations and fully tested. 4 electronics IPM protection relays The Ampcontrol IPM Integrated Protection Relay is an intelligent microprocessor based relay that provides protection and control of electrical outlets supplying mining machinery. Features include: Modular design Machine recognition Insulation testing includes: Results recorded Separate alarm and trip function imac monitoring and control system The imac system is an integrated monitoring and control system, designed specially for reliability and data integrity on long line distributed monitoring and control installations. The imac supervisory controller is a data collection device and acts as a hub of the system, it contains hardware and software which integrates motor contractors and control equipment such as SCADA and PLCs. Features include: Long distance data acquisition Long distance control Multi-drop BUS configuration with distributed I/O Combined power and data on two wires Built in advanced diagnostic tools Environmental monitoring system Ampcontrol offers a large range of environmental monitoring systems and gas detectors. These are available for non-hazardous applications as well as hazardous environments using various explosion protection techniques. The range of systems includes: Self contained single, four channel and twelve channel system controllers Multi-channel (expandable) system controllers available in rack mounted or stand alone applications Single cable, multi-sensor systems Fire/Gas/Emergency shut down (ESD) control and monitoring systems Features include: Reduced downtime Lower greenhouse gas emissions CH 4, NO, O 2, CO Sensors Fire, evacuation and flood warning system This warning system uses Citect SCADA fully integrated industrial control solutions and is a hub for multiple devices that provide voice communications, audible and visual alarm/evacuation notification, along with fire/gas/flood alarm monitoring and notification. It also provides data analysis on gas monitoring trends along with fire alarm and flood warning information. 5 Communications system The underground digital network is the backbone of the system. It provides the transport for the tracking, voice, video, corporate data and control system information. Each of these traffic types is assigned to its own Virtual LAN (VLAN) so each traffic class is segregated and appropriately prioritised. It offers: High speed underground digital Ethernet network Tracking of personnel and assets using Wi-Fi tags VoIP Voice communications between workers within each underground development area and the control room Digital/analogue leaky feeder radio CCTV and thermal video network VoiceCom hard wired intercom VoiceCom is an Ampcontrol designed multi station audio communication system that incorporates pre-start alarm, controlled start/stop as well as voice messaging and intercom capabilties. The system comprises two main components: the VCA VoiceCom controller and the VAA VoiceCom Amplifier Field Units. The units are placed at the control room, shaft top, shaft bottom and along the tunnel. The system also features: Long distance communications on a single twisted pair Multi-drop two wire network Inbuilt battery back up Microprocessor controlled Rugged IP66 construction Lighting We supply robust hazardous area lights for tunnelling and industrial applications. Core lighting products include: PP - Fluoro or LED, sealed to IP68 NB4 - Non-hazardous portable light, sealed to IP56 LED - Low profile light which runs on 12V DC OD5 - Twin lamp luminaire

The equipment provided for this project included: Fire alarm and evacuation system Hard wired voice communication system CCTV and thermal video system Gas monitoring system Flood warning system WiFi tracking system WiFi VoIP mobile telephone/radio system 400 MHz tetra leaky feeder radio system These systems were approved by the Hong Kong Fire Service Department (FSD).

7 Project: Tsuen Wan TBM Tunnel The Tsuen Wan Drainage Tunnel project included the following equipment: Fire alarm and evacuation system Hard wired voice communication system Interconnecting cables Site commissioning The system was approved by the Hong Kong Fire Service Department (FSD) for use in this project.

8 Project: Brisbane Airport Link, Australia Twin TBM Tunnel with 16 Roadheaders With proven experience in the delivery of high quality temporary and permanent power systems, the scope of equipment required for this project demonstrated our versatility and spectrum of electrical power products. The equipment supplied included; 16 x roadheader packages; 11kV/1000V 1500kVA substation, 1000V 8 outlet DCB, 400m 425A 1000V trailing cable and 500m 150A 1000V trailing cable in each package 11 x 11kV/1000V 700kVA tunnel lining works substations 3 x 11kV underground RMU switchboards for 11kV tunnel distribution 33kV site circuit breaker complete with metering CTs and VTs along with 11kV site circuit breakers 11kV and 22kV mobile switch rooms 20MVA 11kV/22kV step up transformer 8 x 11kV/415V containerised surface substations 10,000 metres of 12.7kV/22kV XLPE/SWA 95mmsq cables complete with 22kV couplers and pilot 3000 metres of 11kV XLPE/SWA 50mmsq cables complete with 800A couplers and connecting pins All equipment was fully supported by Ampcontrol's engineering services which included complete electrical distribution system design, HV load flow, protection studies and commissioning. 2 x 10MVA 33kV/11kV transformers

9 Project: XRL822, Hong Kong Drill and Blast Ampcontrol were selected to provide the power solution for this section of the express rail link in Hong Kong. The equipment included: Approx 8,000 metres of 11,000V power cable for surface and tunnel feeds Approx 20,000 metres of 400V and 110V cables for distribution in the tunnel and on the surface Tunnel lighting system Tunnel temporary power boards Containerised surface substations Compact mining substations 11kV switchgear for surface and underground Compact tunnel power distrubtion substations Jumbo boxes All equipment was commissioned and tested by Ampcontrol's engineering team.

10 Project: North South Bypass Tunnel, Brisbane, Australia Twin TBM Tunnel Utilising skills and expertise across a diverse field of specialties, Ampcontrol supported the construction of the North South Bypass Tunnel project with a package solution that included electronics and power distribution. The project scope included the provision of: 2 x 11/22kV 20MVA step up / step down type transformers with a vector group of Ynynod11. Oil cooled - air natural capacity of 20,000kVA IPM relays specifically designed for hard rock applications 22kV switchroom (air-conditioned) complete with 630A bus tie to allow for full redundancy in conjunction with the isolation transformers 10,000 metres of 12.7kV/22kV XLPE/SWA 95mmsq cables complete with couplers and pilots 4,000 metres of 1kV rubber cables and plugs for roadheader application 3,000 metres of 11kV XLPE/SWA 50mmsq distribution cables complete with 800A couplers and connecting pins

11 Project: Lai Chi Kok Drainage Tunnel, Hong Kong Twin TBM Ampcontrol provided equipment for this drainage tunnel that was constructed to minimise flooding during heavy rain periods in Hong Kong. The extent of equipment supplied included: Over 5,000 metres of 11kV plugged tunnel cable and surface cables Over 10,000 metres of 400kV and 110V cables for lighting and small power distribution 11kV switchgear for surface and underground locations This equipment was fully supported by Ampcontrol's engineering services.
