11 DVSR xu Real-time Video Recording means you don't miss any of the action State-of-the-art technology Thanks to advanced MPEG-4 AVC technology, you can record high quality images on up to 16 channels at 25 frames per second (a total of 400 fps, CIF resolution 352 x 288 PAL and 352 x 240 NTSC), with synchronized audio per channel. The MPEG-4 AVC video and G.722 audio compression technology provide the smallest sized files with extremely high quality video and audio. You can even set individual resolution and quality levels for each channel. Interconnectivity The DVSR xu family has outstanding network functionality. This unique platform provides a migration path to IP recording and at the same time allows continued use of existing analog equipment. Technology The SymSafe family of MPEG-4 Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) is a versatile workhorse. Feature rich and designed for ease-of-use, this DVR family extends the SymSuite family video solution. A video connection to a remote site is automatically initiated when a video-enabled alarm is dispatched. Video-enabled alarms are user-defined based on the alarm type or the specific alarm zone. Individual cameras are identified in the MASterMind database, and can be linked to alarm zones/points so that camera selection is automatic when the alarm is received. Video integration involves a MAS-developed viewer named MASVideo and MASvideoN, typically using the vendor s specs (usually an ActiveX API), which is unique to each vendor.
