3 PAGE 1 SynergyPro Analogue Camera/ Matrix Control SynergyPro is engineered to be the most flexible, cost effective, user friendly command and control software platform on the market. We understand that surveillance technology and requirements constantly evolve, often resulting in disruptive and expensive upgrades. Rather than asking users to purchase proprietary hardware or discard legacy systems, SynergyPro interfaces with most pre-existing analogue matrices, PTZs and third party CCTV products to provide a seamless transition to Synectics simple-to-use, control platform. Synergy Pro is flexible, logical, and easy to use. Traditional analogue systems require operators to memorize an extensive list of camera numbers, locations, and monitors for viewing. With Synergy Pro s simple touch-screen graphical interface, even novice users can quickly navigate to the desired shot with the touch of a finger. It is literally as simple as pointing to a map of your facility. NavigatorPro is designed with a multifunctional LCD display, detects if the user is in analogue or digital mode, and provides the operator with the appropriate functions for each environment. Additionally, NavigatorPro allows operators to automatically switch cameras and geographically follow a subject (i.e. North, South, East, and West) through a facility by simply pointing the joystick in the desired direction. In analogue mode, NavigatorPro supports full Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ), focus, iris, wipe and preset controls. In recorded mode, NavigatorPro automatically becomes a DVR playback controller, providing tactile and accurate fast forward, rewind and frame by frame video review capabilities. With SynergyPro, NavigatorPro switches seamlessly between live and recorded modes, plays back video from different DVR models, and controls multivendor matrices and PTZs, all without operator intervention. In addition to the analogue control functions described above, Synectics hardware-agnostic integration software also provides enterprise-class playback, alarm processing and telemetry control for leading digital video recorders, including Synectics own Modular Digital Recording System (MDRS). Simultaneous live and recorded digital video can be presented on virtual LCD monitors or in combination with conventional analogue CRTs, large-scale Barco displays and/or conventional monitor walls. Immediate access to live and recorded video from a selected camera (or group of cameras) from a single user interface greatly accelerates operator alarm processing and subject identification. Synergy-powered operators recognize high value surveillance events sooner and can therefore respond quicker and more appropriately to critical situations. By utilizing dual TFT monitors, SynergyPro operators can record, select and control both analogue and IP cameras in a unified review environment. Whether the video source is digital or analogue, SynergyPro can display multiple, independent streamed cameras simultaneously. These images can be displayed in various resolutions and layouts as requested by each user. PTZ control is naturally routed to the selected IP source, which, again, follows Synectics ethos to enable integration of multiple manufacturers command protocols in a single, command and control GUI. Synergy VMS ( Virtual Matrix System ), utilizing Synectics MDRS Digital Encoder and storage servers, delivers live and recorded video with a fully integrated IP display wall processor. 5 PAGE 3 SynergyPro Alarm Management and 3rd Party Integration SynergyPro is much more than an analogue and digital video user interface. It is a powerful surveillance command and control solution that logically connects security events in your monitored area to video. It is designed to gather alarms from independent, third-party systems (i.e. access control, fire, building management, point of sale, panic, etc.), typically present in large public, commercial and industrial environments, and display them on a single, visually-intuitive review screen. By quickly and automatically linking alarm events that users deem important to live and recorded video, operators can react more intelligently and decisively when it matters most. SynergyPro s extensive alarm monitoring and alert system delivers color coded visual (and audio) messages for both internal system failures and external system alarms, presents maps and video for alarm points, and can even display management-defined procedures that operators are to follow in each situation. For ongoing investigations and prosecutable events, SynergyPro s customizable incident management system will store maps, snapshots, observer notes and dubbed video clips in user-categorized case files for long term storage and retrieval. Typically, a fire alarm will require surveillance operators to complete several cumbersome steps to find, review and save associated video, document the event, and notify security, emergency and management personnel about the incident. SynergyPro streamlines the process by automating routine functions, triggering audio alerts, moving PTZs, pulling up designated cameras onto local spot monitors, identifying alarm points on site maps, locking or unlocking doors, electronically informing key contacts, then tracks all these activities in a database, and maintains a secure transaction record and case file for future review. SynergyPro integration extends well beyond fire alarms. SynergyPro can tie Synectics video to virtually any third party system that makes an API (application program interface) available and transmits their alarm data via RS232 or Ethernet. 7 PAGE 5 SynergyPro Specialized Synergy Applications SynergyMobile The need to distribute and control CCTV image data both inside and outside of a central monitor room is ever increasing. SynergyMobile applies the latest wireless communications and mobile digital recording technology to deliver leading-edge remote video monitoring and control functionality. With SynergyMobile, camera images can be transmitted from the control room to remote sites by a remote operator who can also select and control cameras (with strict password protection). Conversely, with a hand held PDAenabled camera, a remote operator can take offsite snap shot images and associate them with a remote incident form he fills out. The incident report, images, and auto-gps coordinates can then be transmitted from the remote PDA to a control room for analysis, wider distribution or central storage. Remote control, viewing and delivery features make SynergyMobile an invaluable tool for mobile security personnel. As portable video devices proliferate, from phones to tablet PCs enabled with Wireless GPRS, G3 or Wi-Fi, real-time remote command and control has become a secure, efficient and cost effective reality with SynergyMobile. SynergyTransport SynergyTransport management software allows full remote access and control of Synectics T1000 Mobile DVR and can integrate mobile and fixed network systems into a unified SynergyPro command and control center. The T1000, a ruggedized, 16-channel H.264 mobile digital video recorder, can be optionally fitted with a 54Mbps g wireless connection, which allows real-time video images to be viewed from authorized vehicles or fixed monitoring stations. Mobile video can also be automatically offloaded at the depot which detects the nearby T1000 and establishes a secure link and transfer protocol based on userdefined macros. With the T1000 s optional GPS tracker, a vehicle s location can be automatically updated and presented through SynergyTransport via its dynamic map display. Vehicle alarms can be transmitted through the T1000 s optional GPRS radio function back to the main base if, for example, the vehicle travels outside its designated route or exceeds safe speeds. The T1000 s built-in G-Force sensor also detects sudden vehicle movements and can send alarms or images back to central monitoring through SynergyTransport in the event of an accident or other incident. Finally, SynergyTransport can perform scheduled downloads of selected video, system healthchecks, and driving behavior data for periodic management review. Of course, SynergyTransport includes the many outstanding navigation, security and control functions found in SynergyPro. SynergyXtreme SynergyXtreme is designed for industrial environments such as refineries, power plants, and other hazardous areas.
