1 Aerospace Unincorporated changes to Revision K of the SPOC Manual UPDATED February 17, 2014 The SPOC Manual is controlled in Electronic format as presented on the Supplier Portal and Honeywell Intranet. Paper copies and electronic copies downloaded and saved to a local hard drive are Uncontrolled. Users must routinely visit the manual online, checking this change page for updates which have been made that are not currently reflected in the manual. The following changes are effective on the date indicated: Change 1 Section 3.0 SPOC 009 reference to had been corrected in Rev. K, but change asterisk was missing. 2 SPOC 419 Paragraph , section (f) has been rewritten to clarify requirements. Original i) deleted. Honeywell temporary exemption details added. Since today is publication/effective date, correction has actually been made to the manual and is viewable. Subject to the restrictions identified below in this clause, legacy on hand inventory at a Contract Manufacturer (CM) is temporarily exempt from the requirements specified in Paragraph Legacy on hand inventory is defined as electronic parts or components ( parts ) acquired before October 25, 2010 from one of the following sources: i) Life Time Buy material acquired by the CM pursuant to Honeywell purchase orders; ii) Parts acquired by the CM from non-franchised distributors specifically for use in products sold to Honeywell product; iii) Parts acquired by the CM from OCMs or franchised distributors specifically for use in products sold to Honeywell product prior to the origination of SPOC 419. May 1, 2012 December 6, 2012 In addition, subject to the restrictions identified below in this clause, Honeywell furnished material, including parts supplied as part of a CCA transition, delivered by Honeywell to a CM with a Honeywell-provided certificate of conformance and/or Page 1 of 11

When the source of supply is specified on the drawing as suggested, other sources may be used. Note: Albuquerque, Redmond and Urbana drawings are prepared in accordance with ASME Y14.24, Types and Applications of Engineering Drawings. 3) Unless otherwise specified by the Honeywell procuring site Quality Department or by specific purchase order text, a 2-year lapse in casting production will require the casting supplier to create a casting level partial FAIR consisting of only design characteristics that are not a direct product of the casting tool/pattern. Minneapolis Direct Replacement of DoD or Industry Controlled Documents: For Honeywell drawings that reference cancelled DoD or Industry controlled documents where a specific revision of the document is not specified, and the DoD or Industry document cancellation notice identifies a superseding document, the seller may elect to use the superseding document without revision to the drawing or purchase order. When the DoD or Industry document cancellation notice does not identify a superseding document, the seller shall consult the Aerospace Specification Index located on the Honeywell Aerospace Supplier Portal, under Applications, to identify a superseding document. It has acquired the components directly from the OCM, OEM or their authorized/franchised source and provides a Certificate of Conformance The purpose of this section is to define relevant AUTHORIZING DOCUMENTS necessary for the prevention of counterfeit electrical commodity from entering the Honeywell supply chain from a supplier performing manufacturing for Honeywell including the movement of material in the form of Supplier Buy-Backs, Customer Furnished Material (CFM), Government Furnished Material (GFM), Sub-tier Supplier Transfers, and sale or transfer of excess Honeywell Part stock on hand. Authorizing The Certificate of Conformance from the Contract Manufacturer shall include: A guarantee that (i) the material was acquired from the OCM, OEM or their authorized/franchised source, and (ii) the material does not contain any material acquired from an Independent Distributor/Broker. The Certificate of Conformance must clearly specify the manufacturer and lot/date code for each part number supplied. The procurement history of electronic material shall: o Identify authorized source material from legacy inventory as defined in f. o Electronic material that has been acquired directly from an Original Component Manufacturer (OCM) or an Authorized/Franchised Distributor shall have relevant procurement history as authorizing documents to ensure parts have chain of custody to the OCM. o Relevant supporting authorizing documents for material purchased from authorized sources in addition to the Certificate of Conformance from the CM shall include: 1. Purchasing records that confirm that items have only been acquired from verified Authorized Sources. 2. OCM certification; 2 3. OCM Certificate of Conformance; Page 8 of 11
