18 OCCUPANCY SENSOR The occupancy sensor developed by Dongbu Lightec. It can be applied to LumiDas Parking linear type & square type. LumiDas Parking Linear Type Sensor LumiDas Parking Square Type Sensor Occupancy Sensor for LumiDas Parking The Occupancy sensor is a X-band Doppler motion sensor to detect a motion. It detects a motion via high frequency electromagnetic waves with the Doppler principle. It consists of DR(dielectric resonator), oscillator, passive diode and patch antennas and provides most reliable solution in motion detection for automatic lighting control system for substantial saving energy. Operation The occupancy sensor has 36 coverage of microwave sensing and bi-level dimming to save energy. 1% of brightness is activated within 1 cond when an automobile or passerby is detected by sensor in a target zone. 3% of brightness is activated when no motion is detected in a target zone for 2 minutes.
