3 The DEEP HUNTER is a modern and professional metal detector, designed to work on every type of terrain, including highly mineralised terrain with high ore and highl metal polutant content. It has perfect depth and discrimination and stands out with high quality, easy user tuning and minimal need for maintenance. This makes this detector equally suitable for begginer and for experienced users. As DEEP HUNTER concept the a is made: - to have optimal detection depth in all conditions; - to be used on any type of terrain; - to have an adjustable level of discrimination; - to be able to succesfully detect coins placed under ceramics, stones and rocks; - to be able to detect coins in highly mineralised terrain; - to have good detection not just to copper but also to silver and gold objects; to have high detection speed and quick overload recovery speed and at the same time good stability. 4 Tuning and working with the device: "VOLUME" is used to turn the detector on and off and adjust the volume. "THRESHOLD" regulates and to set the required audio threshold. "DISC. LEVEL" regulates the rejection level for iron objects. ''GROUND BALLANCE'' removes the ground effect; works with the auto and manual switch. When set to manual than the potentiometer works and when set to auto the detectores sets its ground balance automatically. "PHONES" this is where the headphones are plugged in if necessary. Switch ''AUTO MANUAL'' it switched two operating modes manual and automatic Ground Balance. Switch ''FREQ'' you choose the working frequency on detector 7 and 14 kilohertz. Working in auto mode Turning the device on is done through the "VOLUME" and set the required volume. Potentiometer "THRESHOLD" which is set to such a position that the device is either buzzing quietly or doesn't make any noise. The ''DISC.LEVEL'' potentiometer is set to the 5-6 position on the scale, at position 8 the detector discriminates foil (for example foil from cigarette boxes). The device is tuned and ready for use. Working in manual mode Turning the device on is done through the "VOLUME" and set the required volume. Potentiometer "THRESHOLD" which is set to such a position that the device is either buzzing quietly or doesn't make any noise. Than from the ''G.B'' (ground balance) switch you choose ''MANUAL'', after which the ''DISC '' potentiometer is set to 0 and the detector's coil is than moved up and down from the ground and the ''GROUND'' potentiometer is set to such a level where the detector doesn't make any sound. 5 After Setting the ground balancethe ''DISC'' potentiometer is set to a position from 5 to 8 depending on your dicrimination preferences. The device is tuned and ready for use.searching for coins and other objects is done by placing the search coil close to the ground and moving it to the left and the right. During searching when the detector emmits a strong and clear sound from the speaker that means that you have detected a non-ferrous signal, specifying the targer's location is done by moving the search coil from left to right until you can determine the correct location. When detecting non-ferrous metal objects a clear sound can be heard from the speaker while when detecting ferrous objects there is no sound or depending on the size and shape of the object a light crackling noise can be heard. search coil movement during detection correct incorrect The movements of the search coil must be parallel to the ground. The movements must be slow and smooth. Charging the rechargeable batteries: When the ''LOW BAT'' indicator lights up this is a sign that the rechargeable batteries need to be charged. The charge\ing is done wheen you plug the adapter from the set in the battery box jack, which is located under the armrest. The charger is stops automatically when the batteries are at a full charge. The charger can also be plugged into cars! The device must not be stored with a low battery, should not be placed behind the windshields of cars or other places where the temperature is extremely high or low. The electronic unit must not get wet. Be careful with the search coil cable. Please familiarize yourself with the terms of the warranty.
