3 1. Description: XIAMEN LONAKO INDUSTRY & TRADE CO., LTD LNK-LJ-03A1 and LNK-LJ-03A1W is the flashing lifejacket light which is activated automatically when water sensors contact at water. It could be manually turned off and turned on in the water. NOTE: LNK-LJ-03A1W is as same as LNK-LJ-03A1 except the function. LNK-LJ-03A1W is also available, with the operating sequence: FLASHING STEADY - SOS OFF, these functions are accessed via the manual switch, while the Water Sensors are wet. 2. Color and materials: XIAMEN LONAKO INDUSTRY & TRADE CO., LTD 5.1 The top case is transparent, the base and clip could be changed the color according to the requirement of customer. 5.2 The base, top case and clip are produced in a high performance polycarbonate. The top case and base are ultrasonically welded together, to form and extremely strong leak resistant assembly The red master switch, on the main body, is coated with clear protective plastic film, has clear operating instructions and is simple to switch on and off The copper water sensors are well shielded and gold-plated, to prevent corrosion. 5.5 The battery type is heavy duty lithium. 6. Performance: LNK-LJ-03A1 and LNK-LJ-03A1W Lifejacket Lights have been tested and approved to the latest SOLAS Standards and are marked with the SOLAS Ship s wheel. The MED certificate number is MED350710CS/ Installation: LNK-LJ-03A1 and LNK-LJ-03A1W lifejacket lights are fit to use for all types of lifejackets and supplied with a fixing clip. The clip is normally placed behind a belt of lifejacket or fixed through the fiber near shoulder. The typical installation is shown as below picture. The user must ensure that the light could be attached securely and is in the correct position on the lifejacket to provide maximum visibility when the wearer is in the water. 8. Operation: LNK-LJ-03A1 and LNK-LJ-03A1W lifejacket lights are activated automatically when the water sensors are immersed in water. And only water sensors contact at water, LNK-LJ-03A1 could be manually turned on or off and LNK-LJ-03A1W could be manually changed the function or off by pressing switch on main body. Otherwise, when the water sensors are dry, the lights could be turned off when the light is working, but not Page: 4

Maintenance: LNK-LJ-03A1 and LNK-LJ-03A1W lifejacket lights are maintenance free, but the following checks should be made annually: 9.1 In the storing period, do not contact water sensors with hands and ensure the water sensors are dry all the time. 9.2 Inspect light for signs of damage or corrosion. 9.3 Test the light by immersing it in water, the light must flash. And manually pressing switch on main body, the light could be turned off or changed function to off. 9.4 Remove the water sensors from water and dry it, the light could be turned off but not be turned on again. 10. Life: The life of LNK-LJ-03A1 and LNK-LJ-03A1W lifejacket lights is five years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date of light is shown on the label affixed to the product. On expiry the light should be removed by moving clip carefully and the new light should be fixed again. 11. Disposal: Dispose of used and expired lights in accordance with local regulation. This should be done through an approved environment disposal agent. Page: 5
