Unika is made of calcium/zinc stabilized PVC R22/23/214, a material that gives the slats the unique characteristics of strength, flexibility and hygiene. The Unika slat is a patented project. 3 Ecological Unika is made of PVC, and then it is fully recyclable. Unika replaces the traditional wooden slats currently used for bed frames; imagine how many trees can be saved by this simple idea. Non-toxic and hygienic Unika does not contain formaldehyde, and the material it is made of is totally non-toxic. It also prevents the formation of mold and the proliferation of mites, promoting health in the bedroom. Unlike the traditional wooden slats, Unika is washable: think of the convenience related to the cleaning. unika FOR THE USER More durable than wood Thanks to the use of calcium/zinc stabilized PVC, Unika is resistant to mold and aging, and it turns out to be 5 times more durable than a similar wooden slat. Resistant to bending Unika has been subjected to an intense cycle of bending thanks to a piece of equipment specially designed for the purpose. At the end of the test, the slat had maintained its elastic capacity, showing a threshold of failure much higher than wooden slats.

Inert to moisture Unlike the traditional wooden slats, in the presence of moisture Unika does not undergo any deformation or bending, while maintaining its size. Functional design Unika has been specially designed with a special longitudinal fold line, aimed at providing greater strength and resistance to bending. This ensures optimization of the warehouse storage, as well as of the handling logic in production. Unika is supplied in precise measurement, which prevents the generation of scrap, a typical drawback in the logic of the cutting of wooden slats, in use today for the production of bed frames. The production lots of Unika appear to be more homogeneous in color. The onerous task of selecting wooden slats by color, needed to prevent the assembly of unaesthetic multicolored bed frames, is then prevented. The indeformability of the Unika slats, even after long hours in the store, ensures automation of the production cycles, preventing jams and unprofitable downtime, usually due to the alteration in time of the wood component. Finding plywood for the production of wooden slats is more and more complicated, and, presumably, it will be even more complicated in the future, given the rapid depletion of forest resources. With Unika, no trees are cut and the slats are always available in the desired quantities and time.
