2 Axor Citterio M. The style of urban life. Once again, people are drawn to the city. Yet, as vibrant and multifaceted as life in the metropolis can be, the desire for calm and simplicity is just as powerful. For the new Axor Citterio M Collection, Antonio Citterio was inspired by modern urban living. Antonio Citterio is both a designer and an architect. Which means that he always visualises an object in relation to its space. Since space itself is an invaluable commodity, it should be filled with a fine selection of precious objects. Therefore, an intelligent, carefully considered room design is more important than ever. Space, outlook, tranquility: these are the principles that Antonio Citterio followed in designing the bathrooms showcased in this brochure. Through clever partitioning and optimal positioning of individual objects, Citterio s vision of the bathroom as a living space becomes reality. Floor Parquet of solid sweet chestnut wood laid seamlessly with waterproof sealing. Separated from the shower area by open-topped U-shaped aluminium profiles. Shower area features Grigio argento tiles, sandblasted surface (by Grassi 1880 s.p.a.) laid in bond pattern on a sealed surface, without grouting. Walls Closed walls in broken white plaster finish (NCS S 1002-Y). Toilet/ bidet and shower areas: doors and partitions of laminated sheet glass, mounted framelessly between floor and suspended ceiling. Glass window front. Light Abundant natural light from a large window front, which can be tempered with blinds and curtains. Dimmable, linear recessed lighting along the curtain rails enhances this natural atmosphere.
