Both the arrival and departure point of guests, front desk area is often distinguished from other areas by different lighting. Front desk lighting should therefore create an atmosphere that is as inviting and relaxing as possible. It is important to play upon the effects of contrast and to mark out the identity of the establishment. Lighting must respond to those various criteria.
