2 The company was founded in 1923 by Mr. William Fabian Fischer, a German national residing in Spain. GRU- PO EXCELSIOR was established as an unlimited company in March It became Ltd in October Our registered office is located in 5, Calle Baños de Montemayor, Madrid (Spain). The company s trade name is GRUPO EXCELSIOR and we have over 90 years of experience in the lifting industry in the areas of designing, manufacturing, installing, maintaining and repairing all types of lifting equipment. We have gained a great experience in the field of refurbishment in the last 20 years. We had installed elevators in buildings which had originally been built without them. We also provide the largest range of accessibility products available in the market (vertical platform lifts, stair lifts, wheelchair lifts and home lifts). We are specialised in both passenger s lifts and cargo lifts, dumbwaiters and car lifts. GRUPO EXCELSIOR has its own factory where we design and manufacture all of our own lift components. This allows us to customize every order as needed particularly in old buildings. Apart from the design and manufacturing we also test all of our components in any of our five in-house testing towers in our more than 20,000 square meters of factory, here, the Research & Development Department is continually developing new models of elevators, lifts, platforms and stair lifts. Our highly qualified and experienced team makes GRUPO EXCELSIOR a market leader.
