1 Thank you for your interest in the Historic Marker Program. The Hampton Heritage Commission has established this program to recognize buildings in Hampton that contribute in some positive way to the appreciation and understanding of our unique architectural and historical heritage. They are intended for buildings that are at least 50 years old, are well maintained and that retain the integrity of their original design. The program is voluntary and does not impose any property restrictions. The markers will identify buildings of historical and architectural significance, and will serve to heighten community awareness, while encouraging the continued care and preservation of buildings and neighborhoods. These hand-painted building markers are custom made for us by Quid Colony Artisans Featured on each marker is the date of your house's construction, and the Winnacunnet pine tree logo originally used during Hampton's Tri-Centennial Celebrations in In this packet you will find the application and architectural form along with instructions on how to fill them out. Please submit these to the Hampton Heritage Commission, 100 Winnacunnet Rd. Be sure to include a check to OULD COLONY ARTISANS for $62.00 ($55.00 for marker plus $7.00 for shipping and handling).
