Turbo/Jet cool The Inverter features a Turbo function, similar to the jet function of other models, but with an increased fan speed and thus quicker cooling or heating of the room. The set temperature in cooling mode is 18, while in the heating mode it is 32 C. To exit TURBO mode press the TURBO button again. Even more energy efficient Inverter technology controls the electrical frequency of the compressor according to the cooling and heating load of a room. ANTI-DUST FILTER Washable and reusable filter to trap dust. SILVER ION FILTER The Silver Ion filter kills bacteria or prevents their activity by destroying their inner configuration and absorbing their elements in cells. Meanwhile the Silver attached on the filter by the effect of the light activates oxygen in the air, produces OH and active O2+ and by this strong oxidation power constantly eliminates bacteria effectively and continuously. The efficiency rate is higher than 99%. It lasts for a long time: up to 10 years. HEPA Filter Eliminates pollen, mill dust and pneumo bacillus. HEPA means High Efficiency Particulate Air and it is constructed of hundreds of small glass fibres that together form a sort of pleated paper through which air can pass. As the air passes through the filter small particles of 0.3 microns in size become trapped. The HEPA filter is very efficient with dust and small microorganisms - the 99.97% efficiency Is defined by the Institute of Environmental Science. Photo catalyst filter system contains two key components: a UV lamp and a chemically treated filter. Exposure to this ultraviolet light causes the chemicals in the filter to become photoconductive. By means of this chemical process the photo catalyst filter cleans the air of microorganisms including fungus, bacteria spores and airborne viruses. This filter can also decompose odours with a deodorizing ability equal to 500 active-carbon deodorants. Its effect can last for about three to five months depending on the use of the unit. Active Carbon Filter Effectively absorbs smoke and dust. Active Carbon filters work based on the principle of adsorption, which is different from absorption, and is the physical attraction and adherence of gas or liquid (vapour) molecules to the surface of a solid. The large porous surface area of an active carbon filter adsorbs harmful gas and odours from the air as the air is passed through the active carbon and becomes trapped in its pores. The filter can trap particles of pollen, dust, smog, pet dander, tobacco smoke, mildew, and mould spores as small as 0.3 microns. In general, the filter needs to be replaced every four months depending on exposure to contaminants and the use of the unit. Electrostatic Filter Makes the air fresher. The electrostatic filter is made of polypropylene and polyurethane, which, when air is forced through the filter creates an electrical charge. This charge attracts airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns and traps them in the filter. The filter never requires replacement as it can be cleaned gently with mild soap and water, and then reused.
