Measuring If you want to be sure that your room drawing is as accurate as possible, one of our independent professional service providers will measure the room and check everything, from the placement of windows, doors, and power sockets to the material and condition of the walls. Price: $75 Click and collect Save some time by placing your order online. We'll round up everything on your shopping list and have it ready for you to collect at the time and location of your choice. Delivery Whether you're shopping in store or online, no matter how big the purchase, we'll do the heavy lifting and bring it all to your home or business. In-store Kitchen planning Get help with the planning of your new kitchen, by booking an appointment with one of our experts at IKEA. You bring the measurements and drawing or a picture of the area we help you with inspiration and functional solutions for everything, from the placement of cabinets and appliances, and storage to lighting and sinks. Our independent professional kitchen installers not only have skilful hands but they also understand the inherent methods of installation required by the IKEA cabinet system. There is no question that correct installation will add years to the useful life of your kitchen. With our help, you ll soon be cooking in the kitchen of your dreams. 5 year warranty Installation warranty is provided by our independent professional service provider and is for the installation of IKEA SEKTION kitchen products only. Non-IKEA product and KNOXHULT kitchen installation is warranted for one year. In the event of defects in workmanship and material, and the failure of the products supplied by an independent service provider to conform with the agreement or warranty, an independent service provider will repair or replace said product or materials; provided, that the defect or malfunction was not due to accidents, alteration by the customer, misuse, abuse or neglect. Basic Kitchen installation service Basic installation is provided by an independent service provider and includes assembly and installation of cabinets, drawers, doors, and interior fittings. 49 How to measure your countertop Start by measuring your countertop from the corner where it attaches to the wall. Make sure to make your measurements alongside the wall and always start from the same point. When measuring the depth, start from the wall and measure out. Don t forget to add ½" for an overhang too. If you need to measure for a freestanding countertop (For a kitchen island for example), simply start from one end and add 1" extra for an overhang. To measure for a sink start from the same point where you ve taken your previous measurements and measure to the centre of where you would like your sink to sit.
