But, with METOD, the outside doesn't dictate the inside. Behind these front combinations you can create endless arrangements, mixing drawers of all sizes nearly any way you like. With METOD you have the freedom to get the look you want on the outside and keep the organisation you need on the inside.

7 6 DOORS AND DRAWER FRONTS Our doors and drawer fronts come in a variety of look. And we have knobs and handles that accentuate the style. So, if you want to create a kitchen that's modern or traditional, you have lots of options to choose from. Modern A modern-looking kitchen is all about straight lines and large, sleek surfaces. Choose long handles to strengthen the horizontal lines, or small discreet knobs or just use push openers to let the big surfaces shine on their own. We even have doors with integrated handles. Traditional Traditional kitchens often stress vertical lines, so think about wall cabinets to the ceiling. Doors can have frames around the panels, slats or bevelled details. Glass doors with crossbars add variation and show off what's inside the cabinet. 15 14 COVER PANELS, DECO STRIPS AND PLINTHS Once you ve decided on the cabinets and doors for your kitchen, the next thing to consider is if you want to use plinths, cover panels or deco strips. Not only practical they re also important decorative details that contribute to the overall look of your kitchen. 1. COVER PANEL. You apply this to the side of a cabinet at the end 2. DECO STRIP/MOULDING. You can use this both as a decorative strip to hide the lighting units, cords and sockets under wall cabinets, so all you see is beautiful light across your worktop or as moulding on top of wall cabinets and high cabinets. It gives your kitchen a moulding to give you even more possibilities to personalise your kitchen. 3. PLINTH. This covers the gap between the bottom of the base seamless and integrated look. There are regular plinths, decorative plinths for dishwashers. They come in a standard length, 220 cm, and can be cut to any size required. As an alternative to a plinth, you can also choose to put legs on your base cabinets and high cabinets which gives a light and spacious look to your kitchen. Note! Most of our cover panels and plinths have the same name as the doors they match, with these exceptions: To match BODBYN and HITTARP doors in off-white you should choose FÖRBÄTTRA cover panel and plinth in off-white. Every day, day after day, year after year. We have. That s why we test our kitchen doors by hanging a 2 kg weight on them and then open and close them 200,000 times. So you know that your kitchen doors will cope with your everyday life. 50 49 Doors and drawer fronts that are more than just a pretty face Our cabinet doors and drawer fronts are built to withstand everyday life in your kitchen for many years. That means, for example, coping with wet cloths, we spill water on them and smear grease on them and leave it there for 24 hours. After 23 hours, we add alcohol(ethanol) and coffee and leave that there for an hour. Then we clean up the worst of the mess with kitchen paper and wait another 24 hours. Only then do we clean the surfaces properly. And the only surfaces we approve are those that don t show the slightest mark or defect. But that s not all! We even test the edges to ensure they can cope with temperatures up to 85 C (185 F), water (1 hour s soaking) and steam at C ( F) without coming loose. Then, and only then, are our doors and drawer fronts deemed good enough for your demanding kitchen.
