1 Designer TT Programme Set Up After securely mounting the radiator as per the manufacturers installation instructions plug the radiator into a 13 amp socket outlet Turn the radiator ON by pressing the bottom button on the programmer. The current room temperature or the words Pr:Hd will appear in the window. Press the Prog Button for three seconds when the Language will appear (Spanish) Hora in the window By pressing the Manual button it is possible to change the language... French Heur/ English Hour Press the Man button until Hour appears in the window. Then Press OK to confirm the English language. The Hour will then flash Press the Up or Down buttons until the current hour is reached and then press OK to confirm The Minutes will then flash Press OK and then Press the Up or Down buttons until the current minute of the hour is reached and then press OK to confirm the current time. The Day will then appear Press OK Select the current Day by pressing either the Up or Down Buttons Then Press OK to confirm the current day. t C will then appear which is the ON* (Sun) or Comfort temperature Using the Up or Down buttons scroll for the temperature that you require t E will then appear which is the OFF (Moon) or Economy temperature Using the Up or Down buttons scroll until the required temperature is set The Pre set Plans are detailed in the instruction leaflet. So dependent upon the room occupation you can choose the times by scrolling the PL Plan and pressing OK to confirm to suit your needs.

2 Or if you want to apply your own Bespoke setting during the week starting at say 06:00* and Off at 08:00 Monday to Friday you have to use the PL CF setting. There are Two Primary Settings: TC is the Comfort Temperature and is the Sun diode and TE Economy Temperature which is the Green Moon diode Always set the Time and Day first as per the instruction leaflet which has to be done both at first installation or if the Radiator power has been turned Off for 24 hours or after a powercut. The Radiator is pre set for Plan 1 which is General Use and operates from 10:00 am to Midnight seven days a week. To programme times to suit your own preferences you have to select the CF Plan (PL CF) With the Radiator turned On and the Date and Time Set you will see the current room temperature in the window i.e.19.0 C TO SET THE COMFORT TEMPERATURE t:c (ON) Press and Hold the PROG button for three seconds Hour will appear in the window (if English was chosen) Press the Up or Down Arrows until t:c appears in the window The radiators pre set temperature of 22.0 C will show but by pressing the Up or Down Arrows thetemperature can be changed as required i.e C Press the OK button set the t:c Comfort temperature (ON)

3 TO SET THE ECONOMY TEMPERATURE t:e t:e will then appear in the window The pre set temperature of 18.0 C will show but by pressing the Up or Down Arrows the temperature can be changed as required i.e. 13 C Press Ok to confirm the Economy Temperature The Comfort and Economy Temperatures are now Set. TO CONFIGURE THE ON* / OFF TIMES IF THE PRE SET PLANS ARE NOT SUITABLE Again the current Room temperature will be visible in the window Press and hold the PROG button for one and a half seconds when H or A will appear in the window Press the Up and Down Arrows until PL An appears in the window and then Again using the Up and Down Arrows press OK until PL : CF appears in the window The Radiator can now accept the First Period of Comfort The Sun* and Period 1 P1 LV (Weekday) LEDs will light up A) Press the Up and Down Arrows to the required START of the Comfort (On) Period i.e. 07:00 and then The Crescent Moon and P1 LEDs will then light up B) To set the Start of the First Economy Period P1 low temperature use the Up and Down Arrows to the required time i.e. 10:00 and then The First On* Period will happen at 07:00* and the Off Period at 10 :00 from Monday to Friday. The P1 Period 1 Weekday Programme is now Set Period 2 will appear after pressing OK to confirm P1

4 Repeat this procedure for Period 2 P2 ie 12:00*/ 14:00* Period 3 will appear after pressing OK to confirm P2 and Period 3 P3 17:00* / 22:00 If you require only Morning and Evening heating during the week and no Midday heating then bring the evening setting into P2 as follows C) The second Period P2* (Sun) will appear and needs to be set at 17:00* by using the Arrow buttons Press OK to confirm D) The second Period P2 (Moon) also needs to be set at 22:00 Press OK to confirm E) The third Period P3 (Sun) will appear and needs to be set at 00:00 Press OK to confirm F) The third Period P3 (Moon) also needs to be set at 00:00 Press OK to confirm Monday to Friday On 05:00* Off 10:00 / On 17:00* Off 22:00 Once the Monday to Friday (LV) is set the display will show P1 and SD (Sun*) which is the setting for Saturday and Sunday Repeat the Week (LV) procedure to set the weekend Periods P1 P2 and P3 or at times as required Important: The Clock must always start at the first period setting in sequence i.e. Period 1 P1 Morning then P2 (Period 2 Noon) and then P3 (Period 3 Evening) Comfort 07:00 Economy 10:00 / 12:00 14:00 / 17:00 22:00 If No Midday heating is required then Stage 2 should be set as the Evening setting. i.e. P1 06:30 / 08:30 then P2 17:30 / 21:00 Period 2 cannot be left blank and Period 3 set as the radiator will not work beyond the first setting. Period 3 has to be set as 00:00 / 00:00, if only Two Periods are required.

5 Turning ON when in Economy Mode The Radiator can be Turned ON at any time by pressing the Hand / Manual button. A flashing blue light at the bottom RHS of the window denotes that the radiator is heating up to the manufacturers pre set temperature. To turn back to the programmed settings Press the Hand button again when the programmed times will resume. It is important to turn off the manual button to return to the programmed times or the radiator will remain on. Turning OFF the Radiator when in either Comfort* or Economy Modes It is possible to override the settings and put the radiator into the Standby Mode by pressing the ON/OFF button. n.b. the little Blue light in the top right of the window will remain constant to show that the radiator is in standby mode. The radiator will remain in Standby until the ON/OFF button is pressed again when the Time/Temp will be seen in the window. Time / Current Temperature Once the programmes are set it is possible to alternate between the Room Temperature and the current time whichever is your preference by pressing the OK button Night Light If the Blue display is not wanted during the night then the Lamp button can be pressed and the Blue display will turn off without affecting the programme. Press again to turn back on. Holidays If the programme is not required during prolonged periods of absence then Plan AH can be selected as this operates a 6:0 C Antifreeze operation 24 Hours on a 7 Day setting Locking To prevent the Radiator programme from being inadvertently changed it can be safely Locked (Loc) by pressing both the Up and Down Buttons together for 3 seconds. To unlock repeat this process when (Un loc) will appear in the display. Safety Please Note: It is important not to cover the radiator with clothes etc as this will cause the radiator to overheat.

6 How do I control my Haverland radiators? Each Haverland radiator is supplied with a built-in electronic thermostat, which is designed for easy use and programming, with full control of temperature and time of use.the thermostat has three temperature programmes: Comfortable Mode: when people are in the room, Economy Mode: when there is nobody in the room. This temperature is usually set up C below Comfort temperature, Anti-Frost Mode: the radiator maintains the temperature at 7 C in order to avoid the negative effects produced by ice. This mode can be used when the room is empty for prolonged periods of time.you can also set a different programme for each day of the week, depending on your schedule. How do Haverland radiators differ from other electric radiators? The Haverland radiator uses the highest quality materials and state of the art technology to enable, energy efficient programming. Are Haverland radiators safe to use in the areas where there are children or elderly people? Their maximum surface temperature does not reach above 75 C, which makes it much safer than other types of radiators. Can I use Haverland radiators in conjunction with existing heating systems? Our radiators could be used as additional heating where extra warmth is needed, or in hard to reach areas, such as conservatories or extensions. They can simply be plugged into a standard 13 amp socket. What is the warranty cover for Haverland radiators? Our radiators have a 2 year manufacturer warranty, 3 year electronic components and a 10 year warranty on heating aluminium block. Why are Haverland radiators so efficient? There are several factors that make Haverland radiators more efficient. First of all, they are made of aluminium, which heats up rapidly and cools down slowly. Secondly, the use of high precision electronic thermostats saves energy, as you can set the radiators to only work when needed. Lastly, the thermostat measures the air temperature, and as it drops, the thermostat senses the change and turns the radiator on, usually for only a minute to re-heat the area. Due to these properties, the use of electricity is very limited.
