2 CASH DRAWERS WITH BUILT-IN SECURITY Mogler security alarm drawers are used in a wide range of applications in retail trade, businesses and amusement centres. These purely mechanical cash drawers are easy to operate and long lasting. They protect against theft and quick access by unauthorized people. Mogler produces three series of mechanically operated cash drawers which differ with respect to the lock design. In addition to the security alarm lock, there is another version equipped with only a cylinder lock and a further version with a pressure lock. Both the security alarm lock and pressure lock drawer versions feature additional protection by a cylinder lock. Drawer designs depend on the method of installation. The available drawer types are under-counter (U), built-in (E) and counter-top (A) drawers. The under-counter drawer with its allround steel housing is preferred because it allows simple and fast installation. The built-in drawer model is recommended if the drawer should be integrated in the surrounding furniture elements. The transportable counter-top cash drawer is used wherever there is sufficient counter space. This drawer is often stored in a safe room after use. Design All series have an attractive design and optimize the use of the housing volume. The standard colors are anthracite, cream or black. Special colours are also possible. Under-counter, built-in or counter-top cash drawers are available, depending on whether the Mogler cash drawer is installed as part of a shop counter or in office furniture. Front panels The front panels of the series S and Z are also available in beech finish. Beech Stainless steel Telescopic runner The ball-bearing telescopic runners allow the drawer to be extended to its full length and the whole housing volume to be used (saves valuable counter space). 3 SERIEs S CASH DRAWERS WITH SECURITY ALARM AND KEY COMBINATION The security alarm drawer offers three-fold protection by means of: a codable key combination lock a mechanically generated alarm signal an additional cylinder lock The security alarm lock is the right choice when making quick cash transactions and keeping cash safe are very important. Simple cylinder locks are often adequate in rooms and shops which are monitored by electronic or other means. Fully mechanical, self-winding alarm bell Security key combination lock with alarm The security provided by Mogler cash drawers with alarm lock is based on a principle similar to that of a Swiss bank numbered account: only those who know the valid combination can open the drawer. Even the first combination failure activates the alarm. The right combination of the four available keys must be pressed in order to release and pull out the drawer. An alarm is activated even after the first incorrect attempt Consequently, the code-protected cash drawer is therefore a kind of numbered account, but made of steel. A fully mechanical bell rings immediately if any unauthorised attempt is made to open the drawer. This mechanical bell has the advantage that the alarm functions independently of electrical power or battery failure. A cylinder lock is fitted additionally, and offers extra protection for prolonged absence from the till. Typical applications include: car dealers, filling stations, hotels, restaurants, bakeries, confectioners, butchers, travel agencies, jewellers, tobacco shops, newspaper kiosks, hairdressers, amusement centres, lottery agents and many more. The German Employers Liability Insurance Association for Administration and Office Workers (VBG) has certified that Mogler security alarm drawers comply in all respects with the requirements of the German Accident Prevention Regulations (UVV) for amusement centres and casinos with respect to secure cash tills. 5 ORGANISATION ELEMENTS FOR COINS AND BANKNOTES The compact insert KE 29E-D offers an enormous capacity in extremely small external dimensions. The insert KE 32E-SF-D has been constructed especially for plenty of coins in a small space. It is often used in bakeries. The insert KE 36 E-K also serves as a cash cassette for transportation. Simply fold and lock the insert, and use the heavy-duty hande to remove and transport the cassette. The extremely handy drawer insert KE 35 is versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications. There is room for 8 coin compartments and 6-8 sloping banknote compartments. The drawer insert KE 42-E-BSF-D with 3 sloping and 2 flat banknote compartments ensure trouble-free daily use. The drawer insert KE 84 is extremely versatile, and features 4 flat or 6 sloping banknote compartments. This design offers reliable protection and guarantees easy transport. The coin inserts are designed for quick coin procedures. The models ME 245 and 315 have 6 or 8 compartments, all other models are equipped with 8 compartments. The single removable, weighable coin insert used with the money scale accelerates counting immensely. This element is an option for a number of our cash drawers. The coin holders MiNiKORD from INKiESS provide a good overview of the amount of cash in the drawer and facilitate accurate counting. This element is available as an option for a number of our models. The note inserts BE 145 and BE 187 with 3 sloping note compartments can be extended up to 6 sloping compartments by fitting the corresponding dividers. This self-adhesive banknote holder is able to hold the banknote while giving change.
