Allgemeine Informationen Heating side installation HE POWER FAMILY erra WIN heat pump with IDM-Hygienik with layer separator plate With priority charging, the top reservoir area is charged with the speed-regulated charging pump to the set HGL temperature. In heating mode of the heat pump, too, a partial flow with the set HGL temperature is always charged in the upper reservoir area via the HGL exchanger and the HGL valve. his means that the Hygienik is always kept at the correct temperature, and at the same time, the lower reservoir area as a buffer functions more efficiently due to the higher temperature - this means: OS B HC (B) - longer runtimes of the heat pump - longer standstill times - more hot water or higher hot water temperature With this pattern, a cascade system is also possible. 16 . Allgemeine Informationen Heating side installation HE POWER FAMILY.. Heating-side installation he relevant laws, regulations and standards for machine room piping and for heat pump systems must also be observed. - It is essential that a dirt trap is fi tted in the heating return pipe. - Safety devices and expansion devices for closed heating systems according to EN must be fitted. - Pipe dimensions must conform to the required flow volumes (see section echnical data). - he connection hoses supplied for the heat pump flow and return, and for the HGL connection must be installed. he connection hoses can be cut to the required length, but not shorter than 0 cm. In addition, the connection hoses must not be bent. - Venting options should be fi tted at the highest points of the connection lines, and draining options at the lowest points. - o avoid heat loss connection lines should be insulated using suitable material. RE (A) Oxygen diffusion With plastic pipe underfloor heating or open heating systems which are not diffusion-tight, corrosion may occur on steel parts when using steel pipes, steel radiators or storage tanks due to oxygen diffusion. Corrosion products can be deposited in the condenser and may cause heating losses to the heat pump or high-pressure faults. For this reason, open heating systems or steel pipe installations in combination with plastic pipe underfloor heating which is not diffusion-tight should be avoided. Heating water quality Depending on the quality of the heating water, lime scale may occur (adherent coating primarily consisting of calcium carbonate) on heat exchanger surfaces in particular, i.e. with a high proportion of calcium hydrogen carbonate there is an increased risk of lime scale forming. For filling heating systems, very clear guidelines apply relating to the heating water quality. Specifically, European standard EN, ÖNORM H and in particular VDI Guideline no. 0- must be observed and represent the current state of art. HC (A) FS HW You must also check the ph value of the heating water; it should be between and.. 18 . Allgemeine Informationen Electrical installation HE POWER FAMILY.. EMC compatibility Please take note of the following with regard to this issue: Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) demands additional work and expertise from all manufacturers and operators of modern electrical technology and electronics year on year. As the number of electronic devices in use increases continually, the number of potential sources of interference also increases. A combination of cables from the power supply company, transmission stations and other communications devices generate an invisible electrosmog". his interference affects all systems, both biological (us as living beings) as well as technical electrical systems. hey generate undesirable fault currents which can have different effects. he effects on biological systems can only be guessed at currently, but the effects on technical electrical systems are measurable, and in the worst case, visible as well. he faults can have different effects: - Short-term measurement faults - Permanent measurement faults - Short-term interruption in data connections - Permanent interruption in data connections - Data losses - Damage to equipment It is the responsibility of the electrician in particular to avoid any possible coupling routes when setting up the electrical installation. Electrical installation Potential sources of interference are essentially all technical electrical systems, e.g. contactor coils, electric motors, transmitters, mains and high-voltage lines, etc., and the equipment can be affected via different coupling routes (galvanic, inductive, capacitive, via radiation). For our part, we have undertaken everything possible to make the the Navigator Control interference-proof (hardware design, EMC-proof control panel, etc.). 19 HE POWER FAMILY Electrical installation.. Power supply Electrical connection must be registered with the relevant power supply company. he required series-connected fuse for the primary circuit can be calculated from the technical data (starting current compressor) and the power consumption of the on-site brine/ground water pumps installed, as well as any circulation pump. It is essential that a slow-blow design is used ( C or "K" characteristic). he relevant cable cross section must be determined by the electrician. All systems are fi tted with a start-up current limiter that also monitors the power consumption and the phasing. A power protection switch is already fi tted for the brine or ground water pump. In particular it is recommended to install a suitable motor protection switch in the supply line to the brine or ground water pump especially in the case of large heat pump systems. he heat pump is operated via the Navigator Control. Depending on system design, the relevant sensors are required; see the connection diagrams on the following pages for more information. For reliable operation of the heat pump, the voltage in the mains network must be within specific tolerance limits. 27 HE POWER FAMILY Heat source.. Ground water use... Description In this system, ground water is used as a source of heat. When using ground water, the water is pumped out of an intake well, cooled in the evaporator and supplied via an injection well back to the ground water. Whilst doing so, it must be ensured that the injection well is located in the ground water direction of flow after the intake well. he heat exchange between the water and the refrigerant takes place in the evaporator (stainless steel plate heat exchanger). During this process, in order to protect the evaporator, there must be a minimum temperature limit as well as the installation and connection of a fl ow switch. he flexible connection hoses provided must be installed to prevent the transmission of noise. he ground water lines must be set up on-site. Notes In the event of increased solids content in the well water (sand, sludge), the corresponding sedimentation basin must be provided to prevent blocking the evaporator (possibly safety heat exchanger).... Application range Water inlet temperature: at least + C (Danger of icing up) Ground water quality: he following values must be observed: - ph-value:, - - Chloride: < 0 mg/kg - Sulphates: < 0 mg/kg - Nitrates: < 0 mg/kg - Manganese: < 0. mg/kg* - Free carbon dioxide: < 0 mg/kg - Ammonia: < mg/kg - Iron: < 0. mg/kg* - Free Chloride: < 0. mg/kg - Electrical conductivity : > 0 ms/cm und < 00 ms/cm - Oxygen < mg/kg* * * If these limit values are exceeded, this could cause sludge to build up on the evaporator and the inlet lines, as well as obstructing the injection well In order to verify the water temperature, and the water volume and quality, a test well and a pump trial is recommended over hours. he test should preferably be carried out at the end of February. - Ensure that the inlet and outlet lines are laid as frost-proof, with an incline to the well. - he lines in the house must be insulated against the formation of condensation. - From the intake well up to the heat pump, a protection pipe is also required with an electric line for the well pump. - Ensure that the well cover is light and airtight to prevent the formation of algae and sludge accumulation. - A submersible pump is recommended as the well pump. - After being set up, the well should be rinsed for approx. hours.
