5 Testing Results All Leisure Line Stoves are Tested To Underwriters Laboratories Standard #1482 By Conam Inspection, Auburn, MA Tested 8/96 to Ansi/UL 1482, CSA B366-M1979 Intertek Testing, Middleton, WI U.S. Environmental Protection Agency This heater is only for burning coal. Use of any solid fuel except coal ignition purposes is a violation of Federal Law. This product is Approved for Mobile Homes Proper clearances must be held. The stove must be secured to a non-combustible floor. A fresh air supply (outside) must be brought into the burner unit. Three (3) inch plastic pipe is recommended. Door Cover Tools Needed 1-7/16 wrench or socket Sulfur Fumes: Make sure your chimney is clean Make sure all your pipes are clean Make sure the flue cap on your chimney is not too close to the top of the chimney and restricting draft. Make sure the clean-out door to the chimney is closed tight Make sure all door gaskets are intact and in good repair Make sure coal is not excessively wet Make sure the barometric damper is in good working order and not sticking open. Replace if needed. Make sure the stove is maintaining a draft Sweat on the hopper lid is a sign of poor draft Preheat chimney

9 Assembly for Hyfire II A Carbon Monoxide detector must be used!!! Parts List 1 pc. 200lb. hopper 1 pc. Hopper lid 2 pc. Hopper gasket 1 pc. 180 BTU feeder (Hyfire II, 90,000 & 90,000 BTU input) 2 pc. Thermostat Box 2 pc. 265 cfm blowers (fans) 2 pc. Firestop Tools Needed 1-7/16 socket w/extension

10 The next step is to mount the black thermostat box. The black thermostat can be mounted on either side of the hopper. Holes provided on every hopper. Now install the glass. Place the self-adhesive gasket on both sides of the glass. Wrap the glass completely with the gasket. Take the 4 glass bolts and brackets out of the backside of the door. Install the glass and replace and snug the bolts. Connect marked wires on black box of the Thermostat and burner. (DO NOT use green marked wire). With your assembly finished, it is time to make all the final connections. Your thermostat should, at this point, be mounted. Make sure that your thermostat wire is connected to both the black box, as well as the unit that mounts on the wall. Hopper lid sweat is a sign of poor draft. Correct problem immediately!!!
