3 Automatic Staining / Coverslipping ACS 720 Automatic Glass Coverslipper* The ACS 720 is the worldwide fastest coverslipping solution currently in the market with an estimated throughput of up to 600 slides per hour. The coverslipper operates extremely fast at the highest quality standard. Safety is a premium, as in all Medite products, with fumes being filtered through the standard active charcoal filter unit or by directly attaching the unit to an already installed air exhaust system. Measuring only 630 x 670 x 640 mm, the ACS 720 takes up only a small amount of valuable space in your laboratory. In combination with the TST 44 C the unit attaches seamlessly to the right side of the stainer, providing full automation. The coverslipping speed is adjustable and enables a flexible throughput. The newly developed dispenser and pump assure consistent, bubble-free dispensing of the mounting media at new higher speeds. 6 Instruments COT 20 Continuous Linear Stainer With its assembly-line working layout, the Medite tissue stainer COT 20 offers great flexibility to busy histology and cytology laboratories, where slides have to be stained continuously. The machine stains between 500 and 1,000 slides per hour without any delay. Optical and acoustical alarms indicate when a slide basket is ready. Lids for staining troughs ensure that the chemicals maintain their staining properties. The working plate integrates 2 storage containers for 10 baskets each. The stainer COT 20 provides a fume extraction device to be connected to an external exhaust facility. In addition it offers a charcoal filter unit for fume absorption.
