3 Showers Electric and Thermostatic We offer the most comprehensive range of both electric and thermostatic mixer showers. In both cases the overriding consideration is safety. Hot water temperature is controlled and stabilised to avoid the potential for scalding. Whilst manufacturing our own dedicated healthcare mixer showers, we also work closely with brand leaders, MIRA, TRITON and REDRING to provide our customers with maximum choice within this complicated and safety conscious product sector. Electric Showers We stock all market leading brand showers which are dedicated to the healthcare market. Thermostatic temperature stability, easy use controls, colour contrasted covers, textile raised areas and extended riser kits are some of the extra features provided by our electric shower offer. Thermostatic Mixer Showers Our thermostatic mixer showers are all sequential operation, which means the shower valve must go from cold to hot during the off to on operation, it is therefore impossible to turn on the shower and have immediate flow of hot water. These showers will work with most plumbing systems and a large number of our showers are supplied complete with shower kits, some of which have extended riser rails and hose. TMV2 and TMV3 shower approval means you can confidently specify our shower valves for domestic or commercial environments. 58

6 Phlexicare Sequential Shower Pack - Including kit Simple, cost-effective and easy to install, this complete shower kit is ready-made for speedy installation into almost any environment. It caters for connection to gravity-fed, high pressure or uneven pressure systems. The control unit incorporates a temperature protection function in that the water output temp is set to 41 C (this can be varied at installation between 15 C & 51 C). This operation temperature, once selected, is fully thermostatically controlled and accidental scalding is prevented. The control knob has a handle extension enabling easier operation. 7 Opac Sequential Shower Valve Opac's easy grip single extended lever handle for flow and temperature control makes this the ideal choice for the less able user. Once set, the thermostatic control technology maintains the chosen temperature, factory set at 43 0 c, regardless of other water users, preventing the risk of scalding. It also has automatic shut off in the event of hot or cold supply failure. 9 Wastes gravity and pumped The majority of shower trays and floor formers installed into bathrooms or wet rooms/zones rely on standard gravity drainage. However different site conditions and depths of trays, formers, screed etc. require a selection of drainage options. 10 Phleximax 50 - for wet floors The Phleximax 50 is a multipurpose drainage system for both concrete and wooden wet floor installations and our Premier shower deck. It is suitable for both vinyl and tiling. For stainless steel grates see page This unique gulley is incredibly efficient in removing water from the wet room area and is completely odour free and stops any gas, water or foul air back flow. It is easily cleaned and maintained with its pull out trap mechanism. A clamping ring ensures a water tight seal for vinyl or tanking membrane. Visible diameter 120mm, 200mm overall diameter. 12 Phlexiflow Pumped Waste Systems The Phlexiflow Shower Waste Pump System offers a variety of options to suit most installations where gravity drainage is not practicable. This extremely quiet Shower Waste Pump is inconspicuous and will easily cope with the output of all electric showers and most mixer valves. The unique design allows the pump to remove water only and not the usual mix of air and water which results in the unnecessary noise of other pump products in the market. 15 Whale Pumped Waste Systems Gravity drainage is not always an option when fitting a level access shower base, for example in apartment blocks. Whale provide a reliable, proven solution for waste water removal. Using a small bore pipe, waste water is removed up from the shallow gulley and raised by the pump into the existing waste system. 16 Whale Automatic Shower Tray System This option is supplied with a flow switch, which should be located in the water supply line to the shower, when the shower is turned, on the pump starts automatically. The pump would then turn off automatically after the over-run when the shower is turned off. One flow switch is required if used with a single supply of water (i.e. electric shower). Where two water supply inlets are used (i.e. hot and cold to a mixer valve) a second flow switch must be fitted to enable the pump to operate effectively. The kit comes complete with pump, pump cover, transformer, top suction fittings, 30mm low profile bottom waste, 15mm 38mm waste pipe adaptor, 1 flow switch & pipe fittings. 17 Shower Seats Important features of a bathroom are very often overlooked. A shower seat, whether placed in the shower area or in the shower room itself is a key element for comfort and safety. Our shower seat range allows a choice of wall mounted and height adjustable seats, lift up or lift down. Various sizes and styles allow a traditional or contemporary look to be achieved and complement the rest of the bathroom furniture. Made from high quality materials and manufactured to EN and British standards, all our seats are easy clean and maintenance free. The diversity of the range means varied levels of support can be accommodated as well as differing budget requirements.
