INTRODUCTION Hand crafted using the finest grade materials this hob cover will compliment any style of kitchen, of any colour. Designed and created by me in 2008 I have sold to a wide variety of customers including many people in the catering businesses who have all commented on how their hob cover has transformed their kitchen, giving it a sleek and stylish modern look. Once you have one, you will wonder how you managed without it before. Once closed the cover acts not only as a lid that hides dated and untidy hobs but also as an extra bench top, giving small kitchens valuable extended space. With the cover open it will then act as convenient splash - back, stopping grease splashes saving the mess on your tiles, or on your existing splash - back. Realizing after the sink and then the hob went in place just how much work top you lose. Having been in the metal industry for over 20 years making many prototype products for various people, the idea of an aluminum cover was soon developed. The first design came into place as four equal sides which covered the hob and this soon became a valued asset to the kitchen. Not only maximising our kitchen space but complimenting its surroundings as well. Shortly after, it was brought to our attention that other people would also benefit from these covers, so I decided to try and advertised them on Ebay to see if they would sell. Within days I knew this was a good idea as orders and questions came flooding in. This then became the beginning of. A few months later, the second design of reducing the rear flange, which not only gives you the function of a temporary splash-back. protecting your tiles or existing stainless splash-back, it also gives adequate breathing room for your hob to cool down so it can be covered after use, Protecting little fingers and also wondering pets.
