In minus temperatures there is a risk of damage due to frost. Do not use anti-freeze agents. Such agents can damage the sanitation system. 4 General.0 General. Guide to these installation instructions Before installing the toilet read and understand the contents of this manual. These instructions provide you with the necessary guidance for the proper installation of the toilet. Observe the safety instructions in particular. Observing the instructions and handling recommendations is important for dealing with the toilet safely and for protecting you from injury and the toilet from damage. You must understand what you have read before you carry out a task. CAUTION indicates a potentially hazardous situation which may result in minor or moderate injury if the given instructions are not adhered to. Intended use This toilet is designed for installation in recreation vehicles such as caravans or motorhomes. 3.0 Description of model 3. Model identification Example: Saneo B L P. Installation notes The toilet must be in principle installed so that it is accessible for maintenance work, can be easily installed and dismantled and removed from the vehicle without great effort. Model range S = free-standing without flush water tank,with console W = free-standing with integrated flush water tank LP = Low Profile, low console The toilet must be installed by trained staff only..3 Standards and regulations Installation and connection of the sanitation system must comply with the latest technical regulations, as follows: The electrical installation must comply with national and local regulations. European standards EN 645-, EN 646-,EN 648-, EN 648- Model version B = Basic with plastic bowl C = Comfort with ceramic bowl The Saneo cassette toilet consists of a toilet which is installed fixed in the vehicle and a removable, mobile cassette as a faeces tank. The cassette can be accessed from the outside through a door. Depending on the model, the toilet receives the flush water from a tank integrated in the model or from a fresh water tank installed in the vehicle. The following models are available: Saneo B, Saneo C : free-standing, without water tank, without console Saneo BS, Saneo CS : free-standing, without water tank, with console Saneo BW, Saneo CW : free-standing, with water tank in console Saneo BLP, Saneo CLP : free-standing, without water tank, with low profile console 6

7 Description of model 3. Toilet identification label 3.4 Explanation of components The identification label contains all important details. You can read off from this the model identification, the product number and the serial number. You will need these details whenever you contact the customer services centre or when ordering spare parts. Installing the service door The description for the installation of the service door can be found in the document supplied Seitz SK 5 ) (optional/depending on model). 4. Create wall apertures 4.. Wall aperture flap The flap is applied when using Saneo BW and Saneo CW models with an integrated water tank. Use the template (), Item 5.3.., to make the aperture for the flap. You can find the installation instructions for the flap under Item Wall aperture service door Make an aperture in the wall for the cassette with the following dimensions: for service door SK5 vertical y min =.5 mm, y max = mm; b = 30 mm +/- mm, h = 360 mm +/- mm. for service door SK5 horizontal y min =.5 mm, y max = 6 mm; b = 360 mm +/- mm,h = 30 mm +/- mm. The x value results from the toilet installation. Observe the position of the service door (template (3) and (4) on packaging). x b h 4.3 Installing the toilet All components of the system must be installed in frost-protected areas. In minus temperatures there is a risk of damage due to frost. Install the toilet according to the description of the respective model. Only install the toilet against an upright wall. Leave at least 60 mm clearance from side walls so that swivelling of the toilet top part (with seat) is not restricted. Observe the dimension sketches and templates, section 5., 5.3., 5.4. 9 Installation of toilet 4.3. Installing the Saneo B, Saneo C toilet The free-standing models Saneo B, Saneo C model has no integrated water tank. Install this model so that the wall behind it can absorb the control panel of the toilet, the electric connections and the water tank, if applicable. It is ideal to set a box in front of the room wall, as illustrated in Fig. 7. Install the control and operator panel in immediate proximity to the toilet (see Section 4.3..) 10 Installation of toilet Installing the control and operator panel of the Saneo B, Saneo C toilet Install the control and operator panel for the Saneo B, Saneo C toilet in an easily accessible position on the wall. First cut the aperture in the wall (Fig.). Use true-to-scale template (4) to make the wall aperture. 88 mm + 0. mm 35 mm +/- 0.mm 4.3. Installing the Saneo BW, Saneo CW, Saneo BS, Saneo CS, Saneo BLP, Saneo CLP toilets These models have a wall connection bracket. The control and operating panel is integrated in the wall connection bracket. The Saneo BW and Saneo CW models have an installed water tank while the Saneo BS and Saneo CS models have no water tank. Install all models with wall connection bracket directly on the room wall (see following figure). A previously installed wall holder (see section 4.3..) is used for fastening of the toilet and the bracket.). Lift the toilet. Then place the toilet so that the part on the side of the wall of the housing hooks into the the wall holder (Fig. 7). If the toilet is installed in the desired position, bolt down the floor plate with the four screws enclosed and insert the mobile tank cassette. 12 Installation of toilet 4.4 Water connection The water supply is connected using a smooth tube connection (). The connection sleeve is not included in the scope of delivery. 4.5 Flap installation Apply the flap when using Saneo BW and Saneo CW models with an integrated water tank. To install the flap, use the template (), Item 5.3., in order to make the aperture in the wall. Fig. Then check the leak tightness. The operating pressure range (waterpressure) of the magnet valve must not exceed 6 bar. The magnet valve will be damaged by excessive pressure. position of O-rings with wall thickness of 30mm -50mm position of O-rings with wall thickness of 0,5mm -30mm i Required pump output at the inlet of the toilet: min. 5.5 l/min, max. l/min (recommended 7-8 l/min). The water is connected for all CT4xxx models as described above. Exception : Saneo xw models with integrated water tank. Fig. Apply sealing compound between the exterior wall of the vehicle and the flap (butyl rubber). Then fit the flap on the tank and fasten the flap with screws. Lubricate the O-ring in order to prevent stiffness when connecting the filling nozzle with the top of the tank. The flap is screwed on with four counter sunk bolts (C4x5) (not enclosed).

13 Installation of toilet 4.6 Electric connection 4.6. System diagrams General system diagram Electric connection must be carried out by trained staff. Note the following instructions before installation of the cassette toilet: Connect the toilet to a suitable power supply via the main connection block of the vehicle (Fig. 3). The toilet must not be directly connected in parallel to other consumers, otherwise malfunctions or damage to the toilet controller can occur (Fig. 4).
