In step with ErP On September 26, 2017, the European regulations regarding ErP (Energy related Products) were updated, with the aim of reducing energy consumption and environmental impact through eco-design. Water heaters must also be built according to ecodesign guidelines and comply with mandatory energy performance requirements, as established by Directive 2009/125/EC, in addition to being sold to the end user with an energy efficiency label, in accordance with Directive 2010/30/EU. 3 WITH RINNAI THE PLEASURE OF HOT WATER NEVER ENDS ECONOMY Hot water can be an extremely valuable asset, especially if you use a storage system to meet your needs. All the water contained in the storage tank, regardless of actual needs, must be heated and always at high temperatures, with the consequence that the hot water tank continues to heat the same volume of water which is cooling down, even when no water is being used. Infinity, on the contrary, produces hot water only when it is needed, only in response to a real demand and exactly at the desired temperature. The electronic flameless ignition and the continuous-modulating gas valve ensure maximum fuel economy. SAFETY Infinity is an instantaneous hot water appliance. As such, it prevents the formation of colonies of legionella pneumophila bacteria, which tend to proliferate in storage tanks. Thanks to the temperature sensors, it monitors the temperature of the out-flowing water for maximum safety even for weaker users, such as children and the elderly. COMFORT The desired water temperature can be set on the remote control unit - a standard fitting with each appliance. The water heater guarantees a continuous flow of water at constant temperature without sudden changes or interruptions, even when the flow rate varies: no more jets of cold water in the shower if someone opens a tap in the kitchen. Infinity, thanks to its low activation pressure, offers the pleasure of hot water even with systems characterized by high pressure drops. EASY Outside, the absence of an exhaust system simplifies and speeds up assembly, as well as reducing labour costs and accessories. Infinity does not require any additional cover, thanks to the standard antifreeze kit and IPx5D certified protection. SUPER SLIM Infinity is the slimmest and most compact water heater on the market. ECO-FRIENDLY Gas can be much more environmentally friendly than electricity. All Rinnai products are designed and built to respect the environment and improve fuel standards: for this reason they feature very high efficiency and low polluting emissions. ENDLESS HOT WATER Unlike a storage tank, which always has a limited water flow rate, with Infinity hot water never ends, because it is produced instantaneously.

The applications of professional products are endless: sports centres, canteens, camp sites, hotels, restaurants, gyms, hairdressers, nursing homes, farms, schools, but also elegant apartments and villas with whirlpool baths and multi-function showers. The cascade installation system allows the creation of modular sets for the production of domestic hot water even in very large quantities. 1 1 FUME EXHAUST Like any gas appliance, a water heater produces exhaust fumes, which must be conveyed to the outside through a special system. Depending on the installation, different types of fume exhausts are possible: 2 4 Outdoor installation Rinnai outdoor water heaters are characterized by the presence of a slot on the front panel of the appliance; the exhaust fumes are expelled through such slot. When installed outdoors, water heaters do not require any flue accessories (fume stack, exhaust pipe, etc.). 3 Indoor installation Special flue gas exhaust kits are available for a wide variety of system needs inside a closed room, in order to expel the flue fumes externally. 5 a single solution: INFINITY HOME USE Infinity is the ideal system for the production of domestic hot water in your home. Thanks to the different available models you can choose the size that best suits your needs: bathroom only, bathroom and kitchen, double bathroom are all possible options. The electronic control system ensures that the temperature remains constant even when a second supply point is suddenly opened - no more sudden temperature changes in the shower! In addition, electronic combustion control ensures very high efficiency and a consequent reduction in consumption: with Infinity you save on consumption and reduce environmental impact. 2 THE CONTROL PANEL The remote control (included as standard with each device (2) ), is a digital panel which allows you to control the temperature directly from the room of use. Being splash-proof, it can also be installed inside the shower box or near a bathtub or washbasin. By simply pressing a button, the temperature can be raised or lowered as desired. It is no longer necessary to mix water because Infinity produces water at the exact temperature set on the control: simply open the hot water tap. Optional deluxe controls The additional Deluxe controls (3) offer additional functions that improve comfort in the use of hot water, such as the digital clock or the bath filler, thanks to which the bathtub fills with water on its own, while a buzzer alerts you when your hot bath is ready. 3 GAS FUELLED Infinity is certified for both mains gas (natural or propane air) supply and cylinder or tank gas (LPG, propane air) supply. It is advisable to indicate which kind of source will be used to operate the device, which may need to be converted for a new type of fuel supply. 4 STORM-PROOF! Infinity (in outdoor versions) protects itself. Its outer shell is in enamelled, anti-corrosion steel. All the devices are fitted with frost protection system as standard, resistant to -20 C (4), have no flame extinguishing problems and resist wind and rain, without the need for additional protection.

6 Acqua calda sanitaria Systems and technologies USE TOGETHER WITH SOLAR HEATING PANELS Solar panels always need integrating, for cold seasons and sunless days: Infinity is the ideal appliance in this respect. Unlike traditional systems, Infinity is intelligent and only activates when necessary: thanks to its ability to detect the temperature of water coming from the panel, it remains switched off if the water is already hot, or it increases its temperature by only the degrees necessary to reach whatever set on the control panel by the user. This way it is no longer necessary to keep up the temperature of the solar storage tank by means of electrical heating elements or coils, thereby avoiding unnecessary waste. Ingresso Acqua fredda Pannelli solari Bollitore Miscelatore Termostatico RECIRCULATION OF DOMESTIC HOT WATER When the supply point (shower, washbasin, etc.) is very far from where the water heater is installed (more than 15 metres) the pipes must first of all drain off the cold water contained in them and then supply the freshly produced hot water. In addition to substantial discomfort, this results in a great waste of water. In order to overcome this problem, the domestic hot water can be re-circulated i.e., by forming a loop in which the water is always hot. The Rinnai recirculation kit is a preassembled system that allows the loop to be put into operation only when necessary, thus providing the benefit of immediately-available hot water and maximizing savings Collegamento Gas Ingresso Acqua fredda CONDENSING APPLIANCES Condensation is an environment-friendly and money-saving technology. The water vapour contained in the combustion products is recovered and used to generate heat. By maximising the use of condensation, the energy required to heat the water to a required temperature is less, thus saving energy and protecting the environment by reducing polluting emissions. 7 The home of comfort and saving The Rinnai home is ecological and safe. Hot water is produced by Infinity, the made in Japan water heater that respects the environment and reduces consumption. The Rinnai home can be equipped with solar panels, because Infinity integrates perfectly with renewable energy sources, and a recirculation loop, because comfort and saving are crucial. In the Rinnai home, several taps can be opened at the same time, because hot water is always available and is always at the required temperature, set on the remote control of the appliance. In the Rinnai home, the water heater is ultra compact and guarantees maximum reliability: that of the hot water specialists. INFINITY combines with solar panels. RINNAI tumble drier: washing dried straight away and less ironing. The re-circulation kit creates a loop so hot water is straight away available when you open the tap. IMPORTANT: codes REU-1420FFU and REU-1720FFU feature a control mounted directly on the front panel. This can be made remotable by means of the code KITCAPFFU, which can be purchased separately. The code REU-VCM37FFUD has the control mounted directly on the front panel, which is not remotable.
