The Evaporcool System is a proprietary evaporative cooling system that works with virtually any existing air-cooled condensing unit.
The Evaporcool System Reduces Energy Use Reduces Demand Charges Reduces Overall Maintenance Increases tonnage capability Improves the kw/ton Ratio Reduces Head Pressure Increases system reliability Protects Coils from Debris and Damage Extends the life of HVAC equipment Proudly made in the USA
The Evaporcool System uses multiple proprietary technologies.
Temperwrap TM Temperwrap TM is the Evaporcool TM System s patented process, which chills water by bringing it into contact with the cold suction line of the HVAC equipment. When evaporated, cold water cools the air more effectively than ambient water.
Magnets SmartSpray TM The SmartSpray TM control box is the brain of the Evaporcool TM System. It monitors the external environment and the HVAC equipment in order to determine the optimal amount of water to evaporate into the air. Microprocessor Sensors
EZ-Frame TM The EZ-Frame framing system (patent-pending) provides a unique mechanism for protecting condensing coils, and creates a cool, moist micro-environment in which air temperature is lowered as it enters the air conditioning unit. The system is designed so that absolutely no water transfers to the condenser coils.
A Simple Principle Hot outside air is cooled as it passes through the EZ-Frame, before it reaches the condenser coils. This allows the system to operate as though it were cooler outside than it actually is.

Customer Case Studies The following case studies demonstrate energy savings.
TESTING PROCEDURES All data is sorted according to the Cooling Degree Days Definition: COOLING DEGREE DAY ( CDD ) A unit used to relate the day's temperature to the energy demands of air conditioning. One cooling degree day occurs for each degree the daily mean temperature is above 65 Fahrenheit. Examples: Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 Min Max Mean CDD
TESTING PROCEDURES Step 1: Baseline Testing Prior to installation of the Evaporcool System, a data logger* is installed on the subject HVAC equipment to collect all applicable real-time energy consumption and unit performance information. The duration of this test depends upon the weather at the location, but will typically last at least 2-3 weeks. Step 2: Installation of the Evaporcool System Step 3: Comparison Testing After application of the Evaporcool System, real-time energy consumption and unit performance data is collected. The duration of this test typically mirrors the duration of the baseline testing, but is also highly dependent on the weather. Step 4: Data Analysis Once complete, all data is collected and analyzed by our in-house engineering department. We sort all data by Cooling Degree Day, as provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The average kwh consumed during the baseline testing period is then compared that consumed after installation of the Evaporcool System. *All data was collected using either an Amprobe Data Logger (Model DM-II Pro) or a Satec Event & Data Logger (Model #EDL172XR or EDL174).

Additional Savings The previous case studies only demonstrate savings from kwh reduction but the Evaporcool System provides many additional benefits Additional financial benefits include: 1. Peak Demand Reduction; 2. Maintenance Savings; 3. Reduced Equipment Failure; 4. Increased Equipment Life; 5. Available Tax Benefits; or 6. Potential for Utility Rebates.
Product Testing In 2008, the Evaporcool System was tested at Underwriters Laboratories Inc. s 16,000 square foot state-of-the-art testing facility in Plano, TX. The testing was performed on a 7.5 ton DX style Air Conditioning System at 95 o F, 98 o F and 105 o F. The results were incredible...
REDUCED MAINTENANCE Cleaner coils means more efficient operation. A dirty condenser coil can increase compressor energy consumption by 30%. - Federal Emergency Management Program Fact Sheet If the coil is dirty. [t]his raises your electricity cost for air conditioning and may shorten the life of the outdoor condensing unit. - Saturn Research Management
REDUCED MAINTENANCE The Evaporcool System protects coils from dirt and debris, so your coils stay clean longer. BEFORE AFTER
REDUCED MAINTENANCE Properly cleaning condenser coils requires: Hours of labor spent taking equipment apart and pressure washing coils. Taking the unit off-line for this period. Using caustic chemicals on your facilities and handling chemical runoff. Immediately after cleaning, the unit begins to collect dirt once again. With Evaporcool : Coils are professionally cleaned upon installation, and immediately sealed off from outside air. Dirt and debris are prevented from entering the system. Our customers can go years without cleaning coils.
REDUCED MAINTENANCE Evaporcool Maintenance is fast & easy Maintenance Guide Page 1 Routine Maintenance: Step 1: Brush debris off filter. If dirty, rinse with hose. Step 2: Periodically check salt level of water softener. Maintenance Guide Page 2 At the end of the Cooling Season: Step 1: Unplug quick-connect fittings. Step 2: Clear system with compressed air. Step 3: That s it. You re done.
DATA CENTER TESTIMONIAL Unit Description: Location: Customer: Facility Use: 5 Liebert Units (70 Tons) El Dorado Hills, CA Large Health Insurance Provider Data Center
The Results: DATA CENTER TESTIMONIAL The Problem: Critical data center with insufficient HVAC capacity. The Solution: Mechanical contractor installed Evaporcool Systems. our LAN room has had a 7 to 8 degree lower temperature. there was a calculated 16 ton addition to our cooling capacity to our LAN room. Facility Engineer
WATER The Evaporcool System uses the precise amount of water needed to optimize cooling and no more.
Minimal Water Use 50 Ton Trane IntelliPak (Atlanta, GA) Max Water Consumption Water Pressure 40 PSI 60 PSI 85 o 2.5 gallons / hour 3 gallons / hour 105 o 5 gallons / hour 6 gallons / hour
Water Treatment Using advanced water softening technology, the Evaporcool System operates flawlessly in virtually any hard water environment. A water sample is analyzed at each hard water location, and appropriate water treatment equipment is custom installed along with the Evaporcool System.
Water Treatment Options Traditional Softener: Non-electric design eliminates timers and provides efficient, reliable, low-cost operation Soft water, countercurrent regeneration maximizes system efficiency and quality of product water Metered, demand-operated control valve saves salt and water by only regenerating when needed Produces the softest water possible, with hardness down to 1.0 ppm Particulate & Carbon Filter Salt Basin Resin Tanks
Water Treatment Options Hydro Care TM System: No Salts. No Chemicals. No Magnetic Coils. Unit transmits a unique radio frequency signal that effectively breaks up existing limescale and prevents future buildup protecting the entire plumbing system. The HydroCare unit simply clips to the pipe, is plugged into an outlet and is switched on. There is no plumbing or electric work required. More information can be found at:
