2 Page 1 Logos In this handout you will see different symbols for each place or event. These symbols mean the following things: There is a changing place in the building. For more information about changing places please go to their website There is wheelchair access to the building or event. This might be automatic doors or a ramp to the entrance. There is a car park at the venue or event. There might not be disabled parking spaces in the car park. There is a car park at the venue or event. There are accessible parking spaces. There is an accessible toilet at the building or event. Sometimes you will need to ask a member of staff to unlock the toilet for you. You can get to the building or event by bus. For bus times visit; Wilts and Dorset and Yellow Buses There is a hearing loop available. Please ask them for more information about this.

3 Logos Page 2 There is a discount available for disabled people. You might need to take something with you to show that you are disabled, or have a special discount card. Please call them to find out. This is a safe place. A safe place is somewhere that you can go if something happens to you when you are out in the community. A safe place will have this sticker in the window. For more information visit This is an event. It will usually only be on once a year, but sometimes it could be more. This is a social group that you can join. They might meet up to talk about or do your interest. This is a place that you can go to about your interest, for example a zoo, theme park, cinema or cafe. You can volunteer to help at this place, please contact them for more information. This is a course where you can learn something new.

4 Page 3 Countryside Mobility Scheme This is a scheme you can join which lets you hire special scooters if you find walking hard. You might have to pay a small fee when you hire the scooters. The Tramper is an electric mobility scooter that can be used on rough ground, mud and grass. The scheme also has wheelchair accessible boats. You must be over the age of 14 so that you are covered by the insurance. You do not have to be registered as a disabled person or have a Blue Badge. Some health issues mean that not everyone will be able to join the scheme. Website: Call:
