2 INSTITUT PRO TESTOVÁNÍ A CERTIFIKACI, a. s. Institute for Testing and Certification, Inc. (hereinafter only ITC) is a private and independent Czech company providing services in areas of testing, certification, technical inspection, calibration, standardization and education.

3 HISTORY, BASIC DATA ITC was found based on Bata s Central Laboratories in 1928 and State Research Institute of Rubber and Plastic technology in 1956 ITC has provided professional services as a joint-stock company since 1993 Since the year 2000 ITC has been a private company and currently is the biggest private testing Institution in CZ owned by Czech owners. After the entry of the Czech Republic to EU (2004) first foreign representative from Turkey started cooperate with ITC and now ITC foreign family covers circa 20 states around the world. Turnover in 2015 was cca EUR Export of services is around 33 % of turnover every year The current number of employees are 178 people
