IDET, PYROS and ISET fairs provides an opportunity to discuss current security issues. Tomáš Tuhý, Police President IDET, PYROS and ISET fairs belong to the important fairs of its kind in Europe, as evidenced by the hundreds of exhibitors. I believe that trade fairs play an irreplaceable role even in these modern times. Not all the novelties can be presented only on paper or a computer screen, and the best deals are still being negotiated by a handshake. Drahoslav Ryba, Director General of Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic Exhibitors view Miloslava Jánská, Manager for fire equipment, AGROTEC: The company was very satisfied with the participation in PYROS; our exhibition was visited by many clients who had a lot of nice or even inquisitive questions. We were glad that we had been able to show how the world s largest articulated ladder works and lift up visitors on the platform. They could thus convince themselves that this technology is safe and reliable. We made a number of contacts for its sale; the ladder was subject of great interest, because we belong to one of two manufacturers in the world that focus on this quality equipment. The ladder is already used at many fire stations in the country. We were also visited by our regular clients. Zdeněk Vafek, Product Manager, Dräger Safety s.r.o.: Our company has focused on the smaller end customers at this year s security fair, because we work with larger customers continuously throughout the year. At Pyros, we wanted to address mainly volunteer firefighters and get this market. Pyros met our expectations that we had when we came to Brno. We also organized informative meetings about our products. We came to Brno to look for new customers, but also for any possible component manufacturers for our fire extinguishers. We have gained extensive contacts which we will evaluate in the months following after the fair. The fair fulfilled our goal and I think it has a chance to continue successfully.
