2 Cobra Alarm Systems Vodafone Automotive is the supplier of many of the world s most advanced standard fit vehicle security systems. Our anti-theft systems are designed and manufactured in Italy at our own state of the art production facilities, exceeding the stringent requirements of the major vehicle manufacturers and the strictest European quality standards. Cobra vehicle alarms and immobilisers are Thatcham approved and recognised by the UK s major insurers, who may offer a reduced insurance group rating or premium discount in return for fitting one. Vodafone Automotive UK has recently launched a range of new high tech wireless alarms that reduce fitting times and drive down security costs for new and used cars and light commercials. Vodafone Automotive offers a comprehensive portfolio of vehicle security solutions with an extensive range of programmable features. New Cobra 4600 Series Wireless Alarms The new Thatcham CAT 2-1 accredited 4600 series of alarms (except 4693) employs technology that links the alarm s central unit and the siren via a wireless connection. A major benefit of wireless technology is that fitting times are reduced by around 30 minutes. A secondary benefit is that the alarm installation doesn t interfere with the integrity of the vehicle as no holes are drilled in the vehicle s bulkhead. The 4600 series is available with or without remote control arming/disarming and standard features include a built-in immobiliser, passive arming, perimetric protection of the boot, doors and bonnet, built-in ultrasonics and an anti-hijack facility. The 4600 range can be sourced through Vodafone Automotive s nationwide dealer network and, in line with the rest of the Vodafone Automotive alarm range, comes with a 2 year parts warranty.

3 Product Range 4600 Series Wireless Alarm The 4600 alarm series (except 4693) is Thatcham CAT 2-1 accredited and provides maximum installation flexibility, cutting fitting time by around 30 minutes thanks to wireless communication between the central unit and the siren. The system is designed to be fully compatible with a wide range of CANbus protocols and can be used both for CAN and non CAN based vehicles. Available in PLIP, CAN or mixed CAN/PLIP versions, with or without remote controls. Easy to install with the latest Andromeda programming tool. Compact Remote Alarm A4693 The Cobra A4693 is a compact remote alarm system that offer protection to door, boot and bonnet, plus interior ultrasonic protection. Compact Remote Alarm A4698 The Cobra A4698 is a compact remote alarm system that offer protection to door, boot and bonnet, plus interior ultrasonic protection. CAT 2-1 Modular Alarm A4198 The Cobra A4198 Mini Modular Alarm offers advanced protection & enhanced safety features such as speed limit alerting and panic button functionality. CAT 2 Immobiliser A8510 The Cobra A8510 Immobiliser is a touch key operated, two circuit immobiliser, insurance approved to Thatcham Category 2 status.

Includes Speed Limit Alert & Panic Functionality, with Pager Output. CAT 1 Modular Alarm A4138 The Cobra A4138 Mini Modular Thatcham CAT 1 approved Alarm, features a double engine immobiliser module. Includes Speed Limit Alert & Panic Functionality. CAT 1 Modular Alarm A4138HF The Cobra A4138HF Mini Modular Thatcham CAT 1 approved Alarm - with the same functionality as A4138. With High Frequency instead of Ultrasonic Protection. CAT 2-1 P and MH for Motorhomes The alarm is suitable for 2 wire CAN vehicles. The motorhome version comes complete with 2 remote control fobs.
