1 Revised! see Protective Earthing Addendum Installation Guide J2 O O J1 4 IN 3 RELAY OUTPUTS EXPANSION 2 J3 1 O O Relays: A 4 way Relay Module provides four 1 Amp single pole Relays with connection terminals to the Common (C), Normally Open (NO), and Normally Closed (NC) contacts. If fitted to an 8-32 input DGP two relay modules can be connected together in daisy-chain fashion to provide up to 7 relays on TS0020 to TS0024 DGPs or up to 8 relays on TS0820 to TS0824 DGPs. When fitted to a TS0015 (V6.0Y or later) Challenger Alarm Panel, the relay module provides 3 relays. Relays 1, 3 and 4 can be used. Relay 2 is not used, as the Strobe output on the Panel follows relay 2. When fitted to a TS0816 (Version 8 or later) Challenger Alarm Panel, the relay module provides 4 relays. Dimensions ( PCB Card ) Size B PCB: 80 x 52 mm Current Consumption: The 4 way Relay card draws no current on standby, and a total of 100mA with all 4 relays active. 3 Mounting: TS0816: TS0015: DGP 8-32: TS0304: The has to be mounted in a separate enclosure and is connected with the cable supplied. The has to be mounted in a separate enclosure and a special cable (LETS0043) must be used. The is mounted on existing standoffs in the DGP enclosures and connected to the TS082x DGP PCB with the cable supplied. If connecting to a TS002x DGP a special cable (LETS0040) must be used. (Where 'x' is TS0820, TS0822, TS0823 or TS0824.) Separate Enclosure. V6 DGP Box 360 x 260 x 75mm with mounting for 1 Size "A" PCB, and 4 Size "B" PCBs or 2 Size "Double B" PCBs. 4 Enabling and Programming: Program Relay Assignments. Refer to the Challenger Programming guide section on Numbering to determine system relay numbers. Map relay numbers to Event numbers and/or timezones as required. Relay function can also be inverted or programmed to be active or inactive during the timezone.
