With a reasonable amount of practice on the firing range, the shooter s response to a threat is to act on instinct, pulling up the gun and sending a laser beam directly onto your target with no more effort than is normally associated with gripping the gun in a traditional manner. This translates into sheer speed. The pressure pad is ergonomically located sometimes on the front of the grip, sometimes on the back, sometimes on the side for instantaneous response. THE WORLD S ONLY GRIP-INTEGRATED LASER SIGHT. It s a classic success story, really. Our engineers came up with a design that allowed for the power source, laser emitter, pressure pad and all circuitry to be integrated into the grip. No external components were necessary. So no changes were imposed on the original profile or physical characteristics of a given gun. AS ADJUSTABLE AS THEY COME. A full range of adjustability is central to the laser concept. Our windage and elevation adjustment system uses precision screws that can be adjusted to make refinements to your point-of-aim. Once sighted they hold zero for thousands of rounds. SIGHTING IN ON ACCURACY. Laser Sights are factory-sighted to approximate point-of-impact at 50 feet. But if adjustment becomes necessary, all that s needed is the hex wrench included with product. A good starting point is to establish a normal sight picture and line up the laser dot with the iron sights this may be all the adjustment needed. ( Sight picture simply means evenly aligning the notch in your back sights with the post in your front sight in a level, straight line.) For further tuning on the range, fire a few rounds at the target. After seeing where the bullets are hitting, adjust the laser to the actual point of impact. For example, if the laser is pointing at the center of the target, but the bullets are impacting low and right, move the laser down and to the right. The design is the most compact, instinctively activated, full-featured, user-adjustable laser sighting system available. It was designed to overcome the design challenges posed by very small, polymer-framed handguns. An innovative, tab-and-groove interlocking system attaches securely to the trigger guard for repeatable accuracy. A lip added to the base of the Laserguard below the activation button acts as an added finger groove while shooting. Installation does not require any pin removal, the use of firearm screws, or the disassembly of the firearm. PRO-CUSTOM FINISHES LOOK SHARP. A recent development at Crimson Trace is the advent of realistic finishes applied directly to certain Lasergrips. This process allows us to offer carbon fiber, burlwood and chainmail finishes, among others.
