2 COMPREHENSIVE FIRE PROTECTION SOLUTIONS THE REAL BENEFIT ALL SERVICES ONE COMPANY INSPECTIONS & TESTING DESIGN & INSTALLATION MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS THERE IS A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF TIME AND MONEY TO BE SAVED BY ELIMINATING THE NEED TO DEAL WITH MULTIPLE VENDORS, MULTIPLE ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVES, AND MULTIPLE INVOICES. WITH FIRE SYSTEMS, YOU JUST CALL US ONCE AND GET ON WITH YOUR DAY. WE SEND OUR TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS TO TAKE CARE OF ALL OF YOUR FIRE PROTECTION NEEDS AND YOU DETER- MINE YOUR LEVEL OF PARTICIPATION. If your system is triggered, the fire department is immediately notified and dispatched to your facility. Fire Systems, Inc. provides 24/7 monitoring service for your fire alarm panel. Fire extinguishers can be much more complicated than pulling a pin and squeezing the handle. provides fire extinguisher training to your faculty and staff to make sure they use the correct type of extinguisher on different classes of fire. Halon production was banned in 1994 due to its harmful effects on the environment, so it must be handled very carefully. We offer Halon recycling for our customers who wish to get rid of these older systems. 3 FAMILY OWNED. FAMILY OPERATED. SINCE YOU ARE BACKED BY A POWERFUL TEAM One of the strongest pillars we have here at is our management team. Our managers each have an average tenure of 24 years with Fire Systems - and even longer in the industry as a whole! There isn t a challenge that our team can t handle. In 1946, Pye-Barker Supply Company spun off its welding supply division. Although fire extinguishers were part of the business, it wasn t until the mid-seventies that an extinguisher servicing solution was offered. Having recently graduated from Georgia Tech, the owner s son saw this as an opportunity. The extinguisher division grew rapidly and soon expanded into fire suppression systems. In 1986, Stan Lumsden purchased the fire system division from Pye-Barker and is still the present-day owner alongside his CRAIG CARNLEY GEOFF ZIMBELMAN RICK TAYLOR sons, Shawn and Josh. He has devoted his entire career to protecting many of Atlanta s landmark buildings and facilities VICE PRESIDENT VICE PRESIDENT DIRECTOR OF SALES by providing a diverse array of superior fire protection services at 4 every level YEARS 32 YEARS 14 YEARS DIVISION MANAGERS TIM MCCOLLIGAN GM & FIRE ALARM BOB CATHCART SPRINKLER JASON BROWN EXTINGUISHER/PRE-ENGINEERED 20 YEARS 18 YEARS 18 YEARS
4 Our Inspection Process 32 YEARS OF FINE-TUNING OUR APPROACH We built this process to minimize the amount of time and effort our customers spend coordinating their fire safety inspections. Give us a call and then continue with your day. We ll take care of the rest. Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 TECHNICIAN RETURNS TO COMPLETE ANY RE- PAIRS, IF NECESSARY. OUR SOFTWARE TRACKS WHEN YOUR NEXT IN- SPECTIONS ARE DUE. REPEAT. Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 FIRST, WE SCHEDULE THE INSPECTION AT YOUR CONVENIENCE. Our business model allows us to schedule all of your different fire system inspections for the same day(s) so that you don t have to stagger your fire safety inspections throughout the year. THEN, OUR TEAM OF TECHNICIANS PERFORMS THE INSPECTION. Fire safety inspections typically consist of both visual inspections and functional testing of your systems. Our technicians are fully trained and certified to ensure that your systems are fully functioning. YOU RECEIVE YOUR INSPECTION REPORT. Within days of the inspection, you will have a comprehensive inspection report indicating the status of your systems. If your systems are determined to be fully functioning, you will receive a clean report. Sometimes, however, our inspectors will notice deficiencies that keep your systems from functioning properly or violations to current code requirements. These will be noted on the Observation Report attached to the Inspection Report. Deficiencies noted on the Observation Report will be accompanied by a quote to make necessary repairs. Once approved, we will dispatch a technician to complete all necessary repairs. Our software tracks when your next inspections are due, so you never have to worry about being late on future inspections. And it s as simple as that. 6 After repairs have been made and system is functioning properly, the Inspection Report is revised to show no deficiencies. 7
