Small green flowers in May followed by red berries. Very responsive to shearing. Highly resistant to diseases. Sun or shade. Currant Ribes aureum Yellow Flowering Currant Z:2 :1,75m :1,75m Foliage is green turning scarlet red in October with fragrant yellow flowers appearing in late May. Almost black berries in late summer. Grows well in sun or shade and can be used for hedging. Blackberry / Thimbleberry/ Rubus odoratus Flowering Raspberry Z:4 :1,75m :1,75m Upright shrub with bright pink, fragrant showy flowers 4 to 5 cm.(1,5" to 2 ") across in June-July. Fruit is red and flattened. Shade tolerant, best planted toward back of a shrub border or for naturalizing in a shady area.
