5 Panarex 5 Litres Panarex kills grasses in ornamental plantings and has a built-in optimised wetting system and does not require the addition of tank mixed surfactants, wetter systems or oils. Panarex is rapidly absorbed through the leaves and moves throughout the grass weed to reach the growing points, above and below ground. First effects of Panarex can include stopping further weed growth and visible colour changes to the leaf tips at around seven days after application. Complete kill takes three to four weeks under normal good growing conditions. On perennial weeds such as couch grass (Elymus repens), Panrex should be used under good growing conditions to optimise movement into all new growing points. Panarex is rainfast within one hour of application. Panarex is foliar acting and is not affected by soil type. Kerb is mobile in the soil profile and therefore the best results will be achieved when applying in cooler conditions. Usually this will be between October and February. Not only does it provide vital wildlife habitat, cover also prevents erosion and enhances the appearance of treated areas. brushwood and stump treatment Herbicides Very few herbicides available for scrub control offer the grass selectively required for conservation areas, industrial sites and road sides. In contrast, Timbrel does not harm grasses and can be used with confidence where cover needs to be maintained. For good results the product must be applied to actively growing weeds. spot treatments On grassland where weed populations are too low to justify overall spraying, all the above weeds will be controlled by a spot treatment of 60mls BLASTER in 10 litres of water. The weeds should be throughly wetted with the spray solution but not to run off as this will decrease the activity.
