Index Wide combines thick wool felt and natural cork composite into an easy-to-apply tile-based wallcovering system. Made by hand and using water-based adhesives, Index Wide adds a warm, textural note to any interior project. With more than 60 colors to choose from, it s easy to create a rich, sound-softening wall surface that suits environments from office to residential. 3 Index Wide Index Wide is made-to-order as 12 H x 36 W tiles. Each order contains an equal distribution of four tile types to insure a pleasing randomized effect. We use only water-based low VOC adhesives in the production of Index Wide. The alternating bands of 3mm and 5mm wool felt, combined with the 3mm composite cork backing provides a 0.20 NRC rating. 4 Index Wide 3mm and 5mm wool felt is bonded to a 3mm composite cork backing using water-based zero VOC adhesive. The product is cut by hand to a 12 H x 36 W tile. Production lead-time is 4-6 weeks. Install using a claybased heavy-duty wallcovering adhesive. Index Wide cuts easily on-site using a utility knife. Color-matched end-of-run trim is also available. Tiles are arranged according to one standard configuration and attach to a wall surface using a heavyduty wallcovering adhesive. Tiles may be trimmed to size with a utility knife. Maintenance Vacuum occasionally to remove general air-borne debris. Should soiling occur, spot clean with mild soap and lukewarm water. Avoid aggressive rubbing as this can continue the felting process and change the surface appearance of the felt. Product color is only indicative, as it is not possible to assure consistency of color in a natural product due to the natural color of raw wool and absorption of dyes.
