From the moment clients first meet with a Discovery Homes sales representative to the handing over of the keys to a new home it is important to Discovery Homes that its clients have a friendly and positive experience. Building Process Select a Plan Narrow down your search by deciding on one of the beautiful home models available. All of the home models are available for viewing on www.discoveryliving.

After choosing the lot for your home, you will be asked to make a lot deposit to reserve the lot while you finalize your building plans.

Your sales representative will walk you through options and customizations that Discovery Homes offers.

Once you sign the building contract, the building process will start with a welcome meeting with the Discovery Homes Head Office.

4 Building Process Select a Plan Narrow down your search by deciding on one of the beautiful home models available. All of the home models are available for viewing on or in person at one of the current show homes. Decide on a Lot Discovery Homes sales representatives are available to help you pick out a lot that will work for you. After choosing the lot for your home, you will be asked to make a lot deposit to reserve the lot while you finalize your building plans. Customize your Home Put your personal touches on the home plan to customize it to your own style and functional needs. The sky s the limit! Your sales representative will walk you through options and customizations that Discovery Homes offers. Sign the Contract Prior to signing the home building contract you will be presented with the home price, lot price, and any option prices you have selected. Once you sign the building contract, the building process will start with a welcome meeting with the Discovery Homes Head Office. Welcome Meeting Discovery Homes wants to ensure that you feel part of the team during the building process, so after you sign the building contract you and your family will be invited to come to the Discovery Homes Head Office to meet everyone you ll be in contact with through the construction of your home. At this stage, Discovery Homes will provide you with an overview of the building process and explain how design selections will be made. Make your Design Selections Bring your dream home vision to life. Discovery Homes brilliant designers will guide you in selecting all your unique and totally customized finishing touches that will truly set your home apart from the rest. Everything from lighting to cabinets, windows to flooring, colours to plumbing fixtures, exterior finishes to entertainment units and so much more will be available to you. Break Ground After the design selections are complete, a date will be scheduled to start the construction of your new home. You will be assigned a client contact and they will be available to you at all stages of construction. Rough In-Tour Take a tour through your home during the construction. Discovery Homes will explain the construction process in detail and review the parts of your home that are later hidden behind walls. Walkthrough Meeting One week before you receive the keys to your new home Discovery Homes executive staff will conduct a final walkthrough with you and give you an orientation to your new home. Move into your New Home Once the home construction and customization is completed for your home, it will be cleaned and made move-in-ready and the keys will be yours.
