1 POST SHOW REPORT March KIEV INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FORUM KIFF FURNITURE TECHNOLOGIES, COMPONENTS, TEXTILES INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION From the 15th till the 18th of March the largest industry event with a 20-year history took place in the capital of Ukraine - Kiev International Furniture Forum KIFF and International Exhibition of Furniture Technologies, Components, Textiles - MTKT Innovation! The exhibitions are organized by the leader of exhibition business in Ukraine - Kiev International Contract Fair, and supported by the leading Ukrainian and foreign industry associations: Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Federlegno Arredo Eventi Spa (Italy). According to the participants and organizers estimates the forum was held successfully, the participants achieved their goals and expected results. The activity at all stands and demonstration zones during the exhibition was very brisk. A positive mood was kept at the whole exposition, confirming once more, that the Ukrainian market is growing. The experts have explicitly described the Forum as the most successful one held in the recent years! visitors from all regions of Ukraine (about 50% of attendance) and foreign countries, which is 10% more than last year more than 300 exhibitors presented over 700 brands from 12 countries more than square meters of exhibition area located in three pavilions of the KyivExpoPlaza exhibition center more than100 events: presentations, seminars, contests, master classes held by guru of Ukrainian and European design 1

In the nomination Interior of Public Premises the 1st place took the Cabinet project by Arsen Kostishyn, Kateryna Lutsuk, Kirylo Nikitenko and Oles Tseliukh. Winners in the nomination of Unrealized Projects were Alona Priadko, Mikhailo Ilchenko for the project Bora bora travel for a perfect holiday in the category of public premises and Shumelda Oksana for the project Black Box in the category of residential premises. NEW NOMINATIONS: Object Design, in which Nataliia Kuts got the first place for her table Blue Table by Kuts. Rehau Awards Furniture Solutions, organized jointly with the Rehau company. The Grand Prix in this category - a trip to the INTERZUM exhibition - was received by a student of the KNUTD Drevinska Valeria. During the awarding ceremony the partner of the contest, the Italian magazine Home Italia, jointly with the organizers of the fair announced a new nomination for the next year -The interior made with the use of Italian brands, but already this year they have chosen and awarded Alona Priadko and Mykhailo Ilchenko for their project For him. 5 SMART DESIGN PROJECT For the first time in Ukraine KIFF presented a unique communication platform, offering ready-made practical solutions and projects for SMART apartments, as well as solutions for the implementation of SMART HOUSE systems. Olena Fateeva, head of the Fateeva Design studio, in her presentation Smart apartments, or Little life in a big city shared her experience in organization of small functional residential spaces; designers Svitlana and Sergey Zaburannyi, the creators of the DesignMe studio, presented the project Smart apartment as it is. KITCHENtrendSET A demo-platform for ready-made solutions and trends in modern kitchen space arrangement. Here modern and classic kitchens were presented by such Italian factories as Valcucine and Veneta Cucine together with Smeg domestic appliances and table setting by Villa Grazia. Due to the unique mobile kitchen modules by BLUM AG the visitors could create a kitchen in its natural size in a few minutes, making their future kitchen by themselves. This year for the first time within the frames of the project the non-stop cooking shows on baking by the Denys Sukhoviy Bakers Guild were held. Partner: the company Contact. Besides, the visitors' attention was captured by thematic expositions organized by Kyiv International Contract Fair in partnership with leading magazines: SALON DESIGN AWARDS - the exposition of the contest finalists among public interiors. ART SPACE - installation of the all-ukrainian interior award, uniting the representatives of architectural and design sphere, as well as project partners. Several lounge zones for negotiations and recreation areas helped the visitors to make their stay at the fair comfortable and contributed to pleasant working, friendly and warm atmosphere. We already cooperate with organizers for a long time in order to create an opportunity to show the beauty of furniture and to show all novelties to all Ukraine and other countries. This year the fact that we like very much about the exhibition is that we have not only invited to our stand the guests from Ukraine, but also met foreign clients. So, we have now an opportunity to go abroad. There are clients that came and invited us to go abroad and said that the furniture quality is even better, than Italian. It was very nice to hear it. We were invited to visit Riga to show our furniture. They are ready to cooperate with us, and it s the first contact we receive at this exhibition. For us export is very important today. The exhibition helps the furniture producers greatly in development and demonstration of new models. If there was no exhibition at all, everyone would think we can do it later. Exhibition is a rather challenging event, because we have to present ourselves and to show some novelties. We are grateful to the organizers for such opportunity». 8
