3 Around a fabulous secret garden with timeless charm... At the heart of the, an exceptional 1200-square-meter green courtyard stands out in the center of Paris. Totally redesigned in 2011, the garden is surrounded by the four historical buildings which were part of the construction from the beginning, nearly one century ago. Built in 1912, the first building, situated at avenue Raymond Poincaré quickly became a unique and privileged residence for the elite Parisian society of that time. Once you have passed the entrance porch, you will discover three amazing 19th century Anglo-Norman style buildings, one of these with a charming turret. In the 1850s, the building at the back of the garden now called Residence was first a convent and then a stable whose owner lived in the turret. The pulley which was then used to lift the bundles of straw is still visible on the façade of the building. Nowadays this building offers guest rooms and function rooms. These Anglo-Norman style buildings once housed the bronze and glass-making workshop of the famous wrought iron craftsman, Baguès. Alfred Nobel, who owned a near-by mansion, also enjoyed this garden where he had a small laboratory and an orchid greenhouse. between the Eiffel Tower and the Champs-Elysées Ideally located in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods of Paris, the is just a few steps away from the Champs-Elysées and the main monuments and a few minutes from both La Défense business center and the Paris Congress Center. The designer has chosen refined materials: bright and smooth, soft and transparent, comfortable and cozy. The garden's spirit, a particularly fertile source of inspiration for Nuel, is subtly mirrored in the hotel's interior design, from the lobby to the upper floors. The theme of foliage prevails, allowing Nuel to give rhythm to volume and to create surprise through the use of delicate decorative patterns and an unforgettable tree-like green in the armchairs which reveals, by contrast, all the softness of the dominant colors. Starting an original dialogue between the 21st century and the classical French style, the theme of plants is the essence of this inspired world.

The theme of plants is again subtly introduced through a brilliant and ethereal piece of work: the canopy invites you to daydreaming... in the shade of a tree. This delicate pattern of scenery was chosen from a 17th century painting and retouched before being printed on a mounted canvas. The way it is bent emphasizes the great volume of the bedrooms. The well-rounded mahogany furniture enhances the soft and soothing grey and taupe colors, while the baroque mirror's gold-decorated frame and a tree-like green perfectly embrace the grey color of the twotone wing chairs and harmoniously play with the mirror's reflection. This wooden, solar and vegetal trilogy is one of the secrets of perfection in a world filled with connections. 7 An oasis of greenery within a city center Listed as a Protected Inner Park, the RENAISSANCE PARIS LE PARC TROCADERO HOTEL's courtyard comes back to life after its wintering, totally redesigned by talented landscape architect Philippe Niez. In the shade of the magnolia trees with their thirtyyear-old great blossoms (Magnolia Grandiflora and Magnolia Soulangeana), genuine symbols of this bewitching garden, the landscape has been reinvented while new and unusual species have appeared as so many tributes to the different lands of the world. The blazing leaves of Japanese maple trees glint in the sun and in the central cluster, fern trees from Tasmania and blue poppies from the Himalayas bloom: this is where the spacious terrace of Le Relais du Parc restaurant is to be found. The garden will now and then liven up in a light water steam from an atomizer, inviting you to daydream and contemplation. In an effort to bring comfort and well-being to its guests, the paths are gently scattered with little maple leaves and covered so as to be totally silent and environmentally-friendly. Like a true oasis within a town, the courtyard of the houses in its heart a monumental work of art by sculptor-landscaper, Claude Pasquer. Molded with his favorite material, hexagonal wire netting, this fascinating seven and a half foot tall sculpture provides the garden with a universal symbol of life and Renaissance.
