5 Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone Key Features Creative and Technology Hub Superfast Broadband Zone covers 70 hectares There are 12 hectares of land currently with no current use Requirement to achieve 4,000 new jobs in 5 years and 17,000 over a 25 year period New businesses will get up to a 275,000 business rate discount spread over 5 years Growth in business rates within the zone will be retained by the local area to support the Local Enterprise Partnerships priorities Simplified planning

8 Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone Securing Investment Marketing & Inward Investment - Targeting local, national and international markets - Branding/Advertising/Events - Integrated approach with local partners, UKTI, etc Business Rate Discount - Zone currently generates a ratable value of 28m and rates paid of over 12m per annum - The proposals may double this amount to be paid This is available for local investment
