I was asked to serve as an interpreter because of my proficiency in both languages and knowledge of the architecture presented in the paper. summer 85 Invited speaker for the Third World Population Problem. Circulation patterns of people were studied. Plants that would permit the circulation of people in that space and also were low water usage, low maintenance in time and cost were selected. Total implementation cost was a critical factor in the total design process.

6 OSCAR A. BLAZQUEZ /87 Sandwich Box Design. Conceived and designed a box with numerous compartments to hold the components for a sandwich. The goal was to provide a means for the user to easily prepare a sandwich right before eating it; making storage and preparation less messy. Disclosure document obtained. In process of obtaining a patent. 06/87 Curriculum Brochure Designs. Division of Clothing Textiles & Interior Design Programs. 09/ Interior Space Design. Family & Consumer Resources Building. Programmed, designed, and evaluated the interior space in FCR building utilizing computer aided design. Total building area 25,580 sq. feet /86 Jensen Farm Market Building. This building will house agricultural technology similar to that of the agriculture pavilion, EPCOT Center in Disney World. Specifically, when implemented, the building will utilize the technology developed by Dr. Merle Jensen, The University of Arizona Environmental Research Laboratory, to grow vegetables hydroponically. Incorporating Dr. Jensen's ideas and concepts, I have prepared perspective renderings. These have been presented to JNC Development Corporation officers and to the Foothills Mall Board of Investors /86 Computer Laboratory. School of Family & Consumer Resources. Project consisted of researching and specifying the best modular system to maximize the number of computer work stations while preserving maximum working conditions for the students /83 Officers Mess & Single Officers Accommodation for Pakistan Navy. Design obtained second place in a competition sponsored by the government of Pakistan. CONSULTING 04/94-11/94 The Youth and Family Center. Conceptualization and Design to house different departments of the Arizona 4H Youth Foundation. This also includes the development of computer animations and computer presentations of the ideas and project to several interested groups. 4H and Extension Services, Tucson, AZ. 4/93-2/95 The Campus Center. Conceptual ideas and presentation packages for a 30,000 square foot new building south of Bear Down Gym to provide health programs, student and employee wellness opportunities, recreation, and disability services.
