Mr. Flanagan is responsible for the overall coordination of the structural, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical and architectural disciplines, including design, scheduling and quality control. Mr. Flanagan also serves as our chief structural engineer responsible for all of the structural designs. Additional responsibilities include: project management; quality control; construction administration; preparation of contract drawings; technical specifications; field construction inspections; investigations; and evaluation of existing facilities. Mr. Flanagan has more than 32 years' experience in the structural analysis and design of water, wastewater and industrial wastewater treatment facilities, as well as the structural design of additions, renovations and repairs to these facilities. Mr. Flanagan has extensive experience in structural steel design, reinforced concrete buildings, tanks, dams and piers, timber structures, masonry structures and foundations for static and dynamic loads. In addition, Mr. Flanagan investigates and evaluates existing structures for the purpose of identifying structural problems and recommending solutions for residential, commercial and institutional facilities, which have included schools, municipal buildings, libraries, retail stores and restaurant facilities.
