Interaction with PTS Communication with PTS is being very frequent, using IRS reporting, Support tickets, e-mails and phone calls; PTS officers have been always very supportive and the personal contact (mainly during the station installation and the training in Vienna), allowed us to establish very cordial relations that facilitate to overcome many difficulties felt by the SO in dealing with processual issues; PTS responsiveness has been variable along the time but, according with our own experience, it looked that the communication levels decreased during the last year; The processes associated with equipment replacement and USM, both by direct PTS supply or by P.O., tend to be slower than the desirable to keep always a good DA and to not extend non-mission capability situations.
Operation: Remote access to the station to daily O&M Dec. 2010 - Initially we performed SoH with Waveform, NaqsView & ConfigUi Very slow connection with a PC using a token; No access to IDC data
Operation: Remote access to the station to daily O&M Nov 2012 - Use of Web SoH A great improvement for online monitoring of the station SoH; No access to IDC data
Remote access to the station to daily O&M Feb 2012 - Installation of a workstation for remote operation VPN access only operational in Nov 2013 and started receiving IDC data in Jan. 2014. Data not received between: - Sep and Oct 2014 and not backfilled - April 2015 to present
Remote access to the station to daily O&M Actually we are using basically waveform, Web SoH Data integrity and data coherency is being surveyed with Geotools Deeper analysis is being tentatively performed with WinPMCC.

Conclusions With the support of the Azores Regional Government, the Graciosa Municipality and the CVARG, the PTS designed, built and installed the station IS42 with robust durable CRF, accesses, energy and intrasite communications infrastructures; IS42 started to operate on August 2010, being certified on December of the same year; Not free from occasional problems, the station operation presented an average of almost 100% of DA in the aprox. first 2.5 years of operation since certification; Migration to SSI in obsolete workstations and later problems in other equipment (power supply units, digitizers and MBs) decrease the DA and POT significantly in the last two years, with some periods of non mission capability status; Improvement in the interaction with the PTS, leading to quicker processes of troubleshooting, equipment replacement and USM are desirable to avoid long non mission capability periods; We look forward to have access to SSI and data analysis training.
