One of the first landscaping companies to open in Qatar, we began providing our services in 1979, and promise to continue for long as we are able to serve our customers and our community. In 1990 Pergola Design (PD) was developed as a workshop which specializes in the provision of carpentry and fit out services. With expert craftsmanship and the use of modern techniques PD is able to design and develop unique pieces which bring any space to life. Aspetar at Aspire Zone Client: Project name: Construction, completion and maintenance of the West/East expansion of Aspetar at Aspire Zone. Main Contractor: SEG Qatar. Location: Aspire Zone. Main contractor: Scope of work: The engineering, design, manufacture, delivery and installation of joinery items, wood deck and car park shades as detailed within the drawings, specifications, and bill of quantities provided. Brief description: The project comprises of the modification of the swimming pool area and the addition of a new National Sports Medicine Program Building for existing Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Hospital at Sports City. The development areas are located in and around the existing Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Hospital as identified on site layouts. Total value of project was QR 5 million, to be completed in November 2014.
Beach projects Project name: Supply and Installation of wooden items including associated civil works at various beach locations. Main Contractor: Pergola Design. Location: The Sites are located at Simasima Beach, Al Kharaiej Beach and Al Wakra Beach. Client: Scope of work: The scope of works under this contract includes the supply, installation, and maintenance of wooden items at different locations of beaches around Qatar. Katara Project Project name: Design, supply and construction of bridges for A/C equipment for outdoor cooling at the Katara Project. Main Contractor: Pergola Design. Location: Katara Project (previously known as Cultural Village), West Bay area, Qatar. Scope of work: The major scope of work shall be design, supply and construction of bridges for A/C equipment for outdoor cooling at Katara Project, in accordance with the drawing, concepts images and project brief description. Client: Brief description: The Katara Project scope consisted of installing A/C equipment for the outdoor cooling of the walkways and passages between the buildings at Katara. These A/C bridges are treated with architectural features to integrate them into the architecture of the Katara Buildings. Concept drawings of representative area had been developed by the Katara Project management team to demonstrate to the contractors the design intent and extent of the work. Total value of project was QR 3.5 million, completed in August 2012.
