2. Board of Director Landscape Concept comments Sept 2015 4 Landscape Concept Approval and Conditions: 1. That landscape proposals should not preclude, but rather enable future implementation of any of the proposed at grade plaza schemes of the 2009 Node Study As previously demonstrated the current landscape design does not preclude the Node Study options (upcoming slides) 2. That NCC staff continue to work with Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) in the next phase of the project to advance the detailed design, focusing on the proposed interior public space interventions, the landscape, and on the east façade Continued work, presentations and submissions have been made to ACPDR and NCC Board of Directors 3. That clear identifying elements be considered on both approaches south and north, and that an accessible sidewalk be re-examined on the east perimeter The accessible sidewalk on the NCC property will be modified to align with the east stair reconstruction. The City of Ottawa portion of the accessible sidewalk is not in PSPC project scope
