2 MISSION To study and develop urban pest management tools, all with particular attention to environment and to low toxicity. INVERDE InVerde is the new brand presented on the market by GEA for its monitoring devices. It includes a line of household solutions for the fight against pests. Moths, flies, cockroaches, silverfish and rodents are the main targets. The products offered by InVerde are easy and ready to use. Some products have been preactivated with pheromone, so there is no need for the final user to buy an attractant substance separately. What the user simply has to do is to open the package, in some cases assemble the trap, and place it where necessary. InVerde articles are not dangerous for children and pets because simply based on solvent free glue, without biocide substances. The materials used for the traps production are natural and ecological. InVerde line can be customized according to the customer s needs and desires. The artwork can be studied ad hoc, both for the trap and the packaging. InVerde is the ideal line for home. GEA PHILOSOPHY Worldwide demand for non-toxic pest management systems is consistently increasing. End users include professional pest control services, as well as private consumers. GEA has become a well established industry leader in Europe and its product lines include: Rodent management tools: glue boards and traps. Insect management tools: pre-baited insect traps and monitoring devices for greater efficacy. Fly management tools: insect U.V. killing machines as well as an assortment of glue boards. Distribution is carried out through Retail stores and Home & Garden stores. GEA PRODUCT PORTFOLIO INCLUDES BOTH PROPRIETARY BRANDS AND CUSTOMER S PRIVATE LABELS Private label products are tailor-made according to customer s needs including: Technical planning, product design, printing and packaging. Production of samples for testing. Identifying best merchandizing and marketing strategies for specific products. InVerde is the brand dedicated exclusively to the Retail market. This line of products was developed to satisfy an ever growing market, which is strongly concerned about ecology and environment. In addition, GEA runs stability and efficacy tests in external laboratories. GEA is currently structured to support all of its products in accordance with the up to date requirements of the European Biocidal Products Regulations. SQS and IQNET attest that the company has a quality management system that meets the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 standards. The certification covers all the company fields of activity from research to production and sales, it enables the company to control phases and processes and to increase their effectiveness and efficiency, with a view of ongoing improvement. TIME LINE GEA srl has its roots as a leader provider of pest control services to the food industry (PCO). The company divested from the service business and began to focus on developing the production of environmentally friendly, natural and pheromone based devices and solutions for pest management control (professional business, B2B). GEA settled in the new building warehouse of 1400 sqm. The Company started with the new product line for professional market. The new food moth trap line was presented to the market and, consequently, GEA started with a product line for the consumer market. GEA strongly developed the production line for the consumer market. GEA started to make important investments both by buying a new warehouse and by increasing its staff. Part of GEA staff officially settled in the new commercial offices, so that the Company was divided into two units: production and account department, commercial and warehouse unit. GEA obtained the authorization for its first biocidal product: Food Moth (Anti-Mites Alimentaires GEA_ P-04031D) by French Authorities. GEA bought 3 new production plants and increased the production area of about 350 sqm. GEA decided to internalize the laboratory for the breeding of insects to manage efficacy and quality testing internally.
