3 Word of advice During the laminating process there are several stages in which dust and dirt will attract to the glass. Dust and dirt can create several problems during the process and can create a higher waste percentage and thus higher costs. adresses the great importance of a clean working environment because it guarantees the best laminating results. 4 1. Gloves 1a. Latex gloves The dust free disposable latex gloves provide a close fit with excellent wearing comfort. The smooth surface maximises user s finger dexterity and sensibility. 9 3. Tools 3b. Dust free roller The dust free roller cleans flat surfaces and picks up dry, unattached particles without damaging the surface or leaving anything behind. After rolling the part you need to clean, simply roll the dust free roller over the specially made adhesive paper to refresh the dust free roller for the next application. 13 4. Liquids 4a. Adhesion Pro Adhesion Pro improves the adhesion between the DuPont SentryGlas and the airside of glass. The AdhesionPro can be applied to the glass surface with a lintless cloth. 14 4. Liquids 4b. Acetone This colorless fluid is the solution for cleaning glass and interlayers from glue and other contaminations. Qdel art. number: - S1052, 1 liter can. Be aware! Flammable liquid and vapour, causes serious eye irritation and may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Keep the can in a well-ventilated place. Keep away from sources of ignition. Keep out of reach from children. Take precautionary measures against static discharges, inhalation of dust, smoke, gas, mist, vapor and avoid overspray. Only use this product outdoors or in well ventilated areas. For eye contact. Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if possible. Continue rinsing. Seek medical advice. Accident. In case of an accident or when you feel unwell immediately consult a doctor (show the label where possible). 15 4. Liquids 4c. IPA Isopropyl alcohol IPA is used widely as the solvent and cleaning fluid for glass and interlayers. It doesn t leave any residues, dries quickly, removes fingerprints and is economical in use. Qdel art. number: - S1053, 1 liter can. - S1131, 5 liter can. Be aware! Flammable liquid and vapour, causes serious eye irritation and may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Take precautionary measures against static discharges, inhalation of dust, smoke, gas, mist, vapor, and avoid overspray. Only use this product outdoors or in well ventilated areas. On contact with the skin or hair. Immediately take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. After inhalation. Bring in fresh air and stay calm in a comfortable breathing position. For eye contact. Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. When possible, remove contact lenses. Continue rinsing. Seek medical advice.
