32 Sirex Line Composite sink FUNCTIONALITY SIREX is the new line of composite sinks featured by a flat aesthetic which incorporates two new patents of Elleci. For the first time, there is the installation of the innovative compact draining system (S.I.R.). It surpasses the last limit of the composite material: the resistance to high temperatures. All models of Sirex Line, in fact, see the application of an Heat Stop Board which has the function to disperse the heat. Another innovation is the size. Sirex line has a width of 51.5 cm, a centimeter and a half more than standard one but it exploits the same standard sinks built-in hole (48 cm). Innovative and patented compact space saving draining system that optimizes the space under the sink, due to the limited size of 5 cm. Better exploitation and optimization of space under the sink. Increased usable space inside the bowl because the grid, replacing the traditional waste, is laterally placed. Greater water down flow (60 litres/minute). No hole for the overflow: more beauty with the same safety and functionality. Installation and cleaning of the S.I.R. easier because it consists of few elements. ELECTRONIC OR MECHANICALFUNCTIONING Electronic: opening/closing activated by a button placed on the control panel. Equipped by a lithium backup battery, long lasting for a complete autonomy in case of absence of electricity. Activating of mechanical system: pop-up lifting system with direct action and not rotating, much more efficient, practical and durable. QUICK AND EASY INSTALLATION Sirex Sink is supplied with pre-mounted hooks and draining system (S.I.R.) already installed. As a result, time saving and easier work for the installer. 32

33 Sirex Line Composite sink HEAT STOP BOARD (H.S.B.): ELLECI PATENT Up to date, the last limit of the composite sink has been the limited resistance to high temperatures. The resistance limit tends to remain at maximum at about 250 C. However this limit is fairly restrictive, considering that a lot of pots and pans, coffee pots, teapots, etc. may exceed it, hence the need to develop a system that does not limit such use. The H.S.B. is based on a AISI 316 stainless steel plate application of a thickness of about 5 mm inserted into a slot placed on the sink drainer center, so that to make its use more practical furthermore to enable the steel plate to disperse the accumulated heat due to any contact with very hot objects, there are 4 spacer pins which create an gap between the steel plate and the composite material of the drainer surface. In this way, the accumulated heat from the plate is easily dissipated into the air without altering the surface of the sink. The spacers facilitate the placement of the plate on the sink keeping it blocked into its position. In order to clean it, the removal is extremely simple and fast. Thanks to this innovation, the composite sink surpasses its last limit, while improving its visual impact due to the combination of two different materials. VITROTEK 3G MICROSPHERIC The new Sirex line is available in the new formulation of our innovative Vitrotek 3G material, which is entering in its third generation: hard, compact, antibacterial and easy to clean. HARD: initial unchanged qualities thanks to a very compact surface. COMPACT: optimized surface density thanks to the section of the glass microspheres. Elleci Suite: sink, mixer, oven, hob and hood create a unique "colour family" giving harmony and coordination in the kitchen. Tangential Ventilation Cooling fan A forced system of air circulation contributes to reduce the temperature of heat transfer in both the front and side of the oven. The tangential ventilation is determined by the operation of a fan which is activated automatically at the oven ignition. The fan generates an air flow escaping from the frontal grid, creating a barrier against heat deriving from the oven and cooling at the same time the door handle and oven control panel. Air circulation also creates a better heat insulation of electronic components and internal mechanisms to ensure superior reliability and durability. In this way condensation is prevented, leaving the glass door always clear for a perfect view of the interior. The fact that the fan is running even after the oven was turned off, is a safety feature, as it indicates to the user that there is still residual heat in the oven and thus, it is necessary to pay attention. Grease filter Grease filter is always needed and it has a double function. It protects the internal parts, avoiding that the greases exhausted from the hood damage the electrical components, particularly the engine. How to choose a hood Before any other choice, it is important to identify the aesthetic model of hood which best suits the furnishing of your kitchen and still reflects his own taste. Carbon filters Carbon filters have to be applied when the hood is installed in filtering version and their function is to purify the air. This operation is allowed thanks to the great capacity of this vegetable substance, the active carbon, to retain particles and substances, before re - entering the air in to the environment. The carbon filters are not washable orrenewable and they have to be replaced regularly.
